Scarlett stayed quiet.
Whenever her mom would be mentioned, she was constantly loaded up with resentment.
These werewolves particularly Asher always believed that they were honorable on a superficial level.
In any case, where it counts, they were no cleaner than brown rodents. What compelled them to think they could pass judgment on someone's mother?
"Don't do what you're thinking, Lottie; it's a stupid idea that will lead to our deaths."
Kiki was consistently the one to remind Scarlett to be mindful.
"Why not? We have endured for a really long time, Kiki. Eventually, all we get is embarrassment." Scarlett murmured to her wolf in her brain.
"If we don't endure now, we won't be able to live. How might you defend yourself and mother from under the grave?"
"In any case, why should I bother living if I don't have any pride? I've been fighting for my entire life, Kiki, and nothing good has ever happened. I was even shipped off a man's bed, essentially to my death, to be tortured this evening."
Scarlett huff. She was losing all expectation.
There were times when she thought taking her own life would simply make things easier, but she would constantly think about her mother.
She couldn't bite the dust without proving her innocence.
"Scarlett, you didn't tell him, did you?"
Scarlett was shocked out of her thoughts by Asher's harsh voice.
She closed her eyes and ignored him. She knew her mother was innocent, but she lacked evidence to prove it at the time.
What an awkward daughter was!
"Fine. To put it another way, I'll do it alone."
Asher gave Scarlett a stern look before switching to an honest tone in his voice.
"Nonetheless, she became excessively hungry for power. She duped the pack.My parents, the late Alpha and Luna, were mercilessly burned to death by her. You think I'll forget about that day? No, on May 31, 2010, I watched my parents burn, and your psychopathic mother was the one who did it."
He gritted through his teeth with each word.
Scarlett held her clench hands, attempting to heed her wolf's advice and limit herself.
"Her mother was destined to be a psychopath. An unreasonable lady. My parents dealt with her and helped her when she became pregnant without knowing who the father of her child was. But what do they get as a result? Passing and foul play! She murdered my parents and now her daughter had every right to walk away. As I see it, simply executing her would be an excessively light punishment!"
"You son of a b***h!" Scarlett couldn't keep down any longer.
"I won't allow you to discuss my mom that way!"
"Why? Did I say anything that wasn't right ha?".
"My mom isn't that way. She is innocent. She could never sell out the pack."
Tears gushed in Scarlett eyes as she shielded her mom.
"Goodness, please. There are records of proof to demonstrate that your mom is the killer of my parents!"
Asher checked out at Scarlett with lethal goal.
"Records made by somebody who cheats and uses torment for probe? Those amount to nothing."
She yanked her hand away from Ezaih's hold and moved forward, pointing her finger at Asher.
"You. Try not to think of yourself as perfect as well! To keep up with power in the pack, who is currently playing manikin to a malevolent man? You are a disgrace!" Scarlett growl at Asher.
Asher frowned. "How dare growl at me you blabber for a slave, deceiver's daughter! Today you will meet your end!"
Asher went to his men and yelled, "Beat this little witch the tar out of!"
Bedlam followed.
Scarlett was promptly pushed to the ground and encircled by Asher's men.
Out of nowhere, one of the werewolves before her was kicked to the cold earth, leaving him wailing in torment. It was Ezaih's who kicked him.
He stood before Scarlett, gazing intently at different werewolves like a devil prepared to send spirits to damnation.
Some of them were stuck to their spot within the sight of his deadly glare.
With one virus advance notice look at the werewolves, he went to Scarlett and bowed down.
She unknowingly jumped and evaded.
"What? Do you truly want to remain here?" he murmured.
Scarlett eyes broadened.
Before she could answer, he got her in his arms.
Scarlett body solidified and didn't have the foggiest idea how to respond to his touch.
It was somewhat awkward from the beginning, however at that point she experienced the glow of his hand compress onto her back.
"What makes you think you're protecting the psychopath daughter, My lord?"
Asher spoke loudly.
Scarlett pursed her lips, unsure if she needed to hear Ezaih's response.
"Since she's my mate and your future queen."
At the point when that's what he said, Scarlett felt her heart beat in a way she had never felt.
She gazed toward the handsome and dashing king who is still dashing and strong, regardless of him living for a century.
