SEA AND SUNSET

1123 Words
Before the day ended, Stella thought about asking Luna to go have dinner by the beach... Uhm, so, since we are not total strangers to each other, I was thinking we could cook and have dinner by the beach. -- Stella. Sounds nice, but there is one thing though. I wanted to know the new you. I mean to catch up with what's new in your life. How did you end up being an influencer? You know stuff that has been happening to you lately. I hope you are not bothered by it. I just really want to understand you better so we could work on our project better. --Luna requested. It is okay, to be honest, I feel more comfortable now that I know that you did not forget about me, even though we weren't really close back then. And who knows, maybe this could be good in the long run. --Stella replied with a sweet smile. And so they prepared everything that they would need for their dinner. They have a few seafoods, beef, pork and some veggies. As Stella was pre-heating the grill and preparing the soup, Luna asked her for something. Don't you have rice? --Luna asked. Oh, sorry, I didn't know you liked rice for dinner. Is it okay if I'll just make you a fried rice? --Stellas asked. Plain rice will do. --Luna answered. It's okay, I bought some microwaveable rice, but instead of using the microwave to heat it up, I'll be using the soup to heat it and fry it for a little bit. --Stella answered. You sure know how to cook. I have not seen any housemaids ever since we got here. --Luna. That is something new in my life. I asked my parents to send in the housemaids whenever I'm not here, because I only come here at least twice a week so they could just clean when I'm not around. Though it's a different story during school breaks, I am always here and this is where I film most of my videos and got my best friend with her girlfriend helping me out with the videos. During that time, the housemaid comes once a week to clean and take laundry. --Stella. Hmmm, you have been independent even back then, and the new thing is that you can cook. Did you study cookery? --Luna. No, I did not. After I left boarding school, I went on a journey to travel the world and taste different kinds of cuisine. And that also marks the beginning of my journey as an influencer, photographer and an explorer. That is how I learned and got my cooking skills. Everywhere I go and eat, once I like the dish, I ask the chef to teach me how to cook it. Sometimes they can't, so I have to do research about it and ask the locals. It also put me in the direction of gardening, since not all ingredients will be available here, I tried to learn how to plant and cultivate them...hey!! Are you starting to get bored and hungry? --Stella. Huh? No, I'm not bored. Yes, I am hungry, but I'm amused at how you're starting to open up to me. Now I'm glad that you are my partner. --Luna answered with a sweet smile. Hahahaha, Stella laughed, let's just eat and maybe you should start telling me about you. I feel like I'm in an interrogation. --Stella delightfully answered. Rice is ready. And you're grilling? --Stella in a confused state. What? You're not the only person who knows how to cook. I did learn things before coming back. I hope you don't have allergies 'cause I made a peanut-based marinade for some vegetables and meat. --Luna brags. No, I don't have any allergies nor am I a picky eater. As long as its edible and tastes good I'll eat it. --Stella. They wasted the night exchanging stories about their journey. They laughed, had a few drinks and played like two little kids who found comfort in each other. Then the rain started to pour, they played under it, until... Hachuu! --Luna sneezed. Come on, let's head inside, before your cold gets worse. Don't worry about that stuff, it's far from the tide line and tomorrow's Sunday, maids are coming.--Stella. They headed inside the house and changed their clothes and had a cup of hot cocoa. While having their drinks, the rain gets heavier and it appears to be a typhoon is coming. Luna checked the news online to be sure that there were no typhoon advisories. You look scared, Are you ok? --Stella asked Luna. Honestly, I'm not OK. I'm worried and scared. If it's not too much to ask, can we just sleep here together? I don't really like sleeping in this kind of weather, it scares me. --Luna. I did not know that you were scared of this weather. I'll stay with you but we could just sleep in my room. Let's grab our stuff here and your stuff in the guest room. --Stella said, giving a polite smile. They went on and fixed their things for school and proceeded to the guest room to get Luna's things. Entering Stella's bedroom, Luna was once again amazed at how everything was tidy and it was much bigger than the guest room. Stella showed her where to get fresh clothes and the bathroom. Inside the walk-in closet she notices that the clothes come in black, gray or white colours. Some are oversized, probably for sleeping and everyday use. There are a few dresses and gowns for special occasions. Then she noticed the footwear corner. She was amazed at how many shoes and sandals were in there, it was like she had entered a shoe store. Luna lay down on the bed, while Stella was still reading a book. After a few hours, Stella felt a hand wrapping around her waist, and when she looked at it, she couldn't help but smile and she laid down with her. She strokes Luna's hair. "If you only knew that I wanted you to be my baby, I would promise to stay by your side forever and always, even if we never ended up being together.... " --Stella's mind. Suddenly... "I'm scared. Please stay with me." Luna whispered while tears were falling from her eyes. Stella wiped her tears gently, gave her a warm hug and a kiss on the head. Then the rain stopped and she whispered to Luna.... "The storm has passed, my love, you are safe. Sleep well and good night." Inside Stella's head she was hoping that the weekend never ends. She had a great time with the person that she'd been admiring for many years.
