Atlas could not help but feel a flutter of excitement in her stomach at Tatum’s words. The thought of him wanting her to come over more often was flattering, and it made her heart beat a little faster. She tried to maintain a casual demeanor, but she could not hide the slight hint of a smile that tugged at the corner of her lips.
She tried to play it cool, rolling her eyes playfully at his words and replying sarcastically, but she could not help the slight flush that rose to her cheeks. “Oh, you are so smooth.” Her words were getting a laugh from Tatum. “Real subtle there.” Despite her mock annoyance, she could not help but grin as she wished that he was not seeing her flushing cheeks. “And what exactly are you implying, Tatum? Are you asking me to come over more often?”
