Ryan chuckled, "What a joke! It's about my sons, not me. Who does it concern? You? You've got some nerve!"
Adam was speechless, choked by Ryan's words. He glared at Kaia in anger and asked, "Kaia, what's going on?"
His sudden raised voice startled Charlie, who pushed Ryan away and rushed into Kaia's arms, holding onto her tightly, trembling.
Kaia felt heartbroken. She squatted down, embracing her son and soothing him softly, "Sweetie, be good. Mommy is fine... Mommy is okay..."
