I sat in the tub, letting the warm water south my bones. Thinking back on Amy's plan as one scrubbed my head, I wondered if it would really work. The girl seemed smart but her plan would take years, first to learn the mech language, then to learn how to pilot an advanced space craft, I felt worried. I didn't have years, I had a month until ailign and I were expected to start trying to have babies.

One picked up an ern and poured water over my bubbly head, rinsing the film off, her cold fingers moving to untangle my hair. Maybe the plan would work, I had to have hope. I wondered absently what else I could do to quicken my escape. The black market could be an option, but I didn't know when the next time ailign was going to let me out of his sights.

"All done" One said. She heald out a towel and I walked into it, splashing water onto the tiled marble floor as I left the tub.Today was going to be another day at the facility. I quickly get ready, the bundle of books already prepared to go in the corner of the room.

I was right about Amy's reaction. She was practically giddy when I handed her the books. She jumped up and down before holding her hands out.

"How did you get your hands on these!?" She asks amazed.

"Me and ailign went on a trip and I snuck away" I said proudly.

"You got balls girl. I'll give you that." She said as she moved to give me a hug.

"I don't know how useful they'll be but their in the mech language, I had one check." I said, and one looked over at the mention of her name.

"These are perfect, just wait megan in a couple years I'll be flying us home." She said proudly.

'A couple of years' I thought to myself.

"Did you hear about all the new laws pertaining us?" She ask me then, changing the subject

"No. Just that ailign said i dont have to follow them" I say

She looked confused at my statement "maybe it's because your his mate." She says

"I'm not sure. He just seemed to not like them." I answer back truthfully.

"Well apparently they put a lock down on our education, the elders saw the military plans and threw a fit. They're restricting us pretty hard now." She says in a hushed voice.

"Restricting just our education?" I ask confused

"Restricting what we can do in society. We can't get jobs, or learn about certain thing, or travel to certian planets. Roge didn't tell me all of it but he was pretty mad. He's been stationed at a few planets in the past that I'm now restricted from entering." She says

"There goes my vacation plans." I say

She laughs at my little joke, and then places a hand on my knee, rubbing it gently.

"Where basically forced to be house wives on this s**t poor planet megan. All our future possibilities are disappearing." She says

"Well ms. Pilot you better hit the books." I say encouragingly. She smiles at my reformation and let's go of my knee.

"Thanks megan" She says

I continued the day doing various activities either with Amy of one of the other girls I had met at my time in therapy. There was a nice, quite girl named rose who was a comfort to be around. She was always finding ways to bring me comfort, either with a simple hand on the shoulder to comforting words. She was a caretaker at heart.

"Hey there little human" I hear a voice say from behind me. It was artis again.

"Hello there artis." I greet back, a smile on my face. "Are you out patrolling around?"

"Just making sure all these little creatures are safe." He responds

"And what's your verdict?" I ask

"All clear" He says with a wink

"I could always start trouble to give you something to do." I tease

"And what kind of trouble would you be starting?" He asks, a serious expression coming to his face.

"A food fight. Attack the guards with some vegetable lazana." I tease.

"Whats vegetable lazana?" He asks bewildered.

"Human food. It's perfect for throwing in peoples faces. Nobody wants to eat it." I laugh to myself.

"I'd be happier if you fed it to me." He says "personally."

Ow this alien was a flirty one. An idea came to me then. What if I could convince one of these mech males to take me.

"You know there's one activity that not on the roster that I wanna do." I say

"Whats that?" He ask

"Veiw a space craft. Got any?" I ask

He laughs then.

"For my princess sure why not. Ow your gonna love this. I've got sometime let me show you around my personal one." He says

"Can I bring a friend?" I ask suddenly thinking Amy would love this.

"Only if she has a guard or a Droid" He says killing my fun.

"She does not" I answer back.

"Then it's just the two of us cutie" He says with a wink. Artis was deffinatly flirty, and handsome. His green hair somehow making him feel more exotic then terrifying.
