We were scouting out the houses on the street jole mention, not sure which house it was. The houses were all normal, two story buildings lined up down the road. Ailign let loose a couple mini drones the size of a large bug. They flew off down and around the street.
"What do we do now?" I asked "just sit and wait for artis to walk by?"
"Yes" he said "well see if he has a dog."
I let out a small chuckle, ailign was getting better at making jokes as time progressed. I look up at him warmly, and he returns my smile.
"Why wait for him at all if you have drones?" I ask
"He might have taken on the form of another species." Ailign said
"And you'll be able to tell he's mech?" I ask
"Yes" he said
"How?" I ask
"I just can" I grumbled then let out a sigh "mechs can identify other mechs
