Seth rifled through the pockets of the robbers with methodical precision, his smile growing as he uncovered a small pile of crumpled bills and a few coins. It wasn’t much, but it was a start. He even found a few trinkets—a cheap watch, a ring, and a necklace—that he could sell later for some extra cash. Each discovery added a small thrill to his satisfaction, the first real relief he had felt since leaving the Black Tower. "Not bad," he muttered to himself, pocketing the money and the valuables.
