Chap 9

Aiden POV

I still can’t Believe Chrystal is sitting across from me having dinner during at Mofia meeting. We finish and go into the living room while Chrys goes with Gabe to clear the dishes.

S-“Hey boss, isn’t that the girl you told us about?” Sean asked me in a hushed tone.

A-“yeah that is. I was planning on asking her to be my queen. I can’t believe he stole her from me.”

Brice-“ We will just have to get her back.” My best friend and second in command Brice says.

They walk back in with coffee and Whiskey. Chrys has a pint of ice cream. She plops down in a big chair. Man she looks so good.

A-“so how far along are?” I ask her wanting to know more about this pregnancy.

C-“I’m 25 with boy girl Twins.” She says before taking a bite of ice cream.

A-“so is Gabriel is the father correct?”

I watch as Chrys chokes on her ice cream and Gabe runs over to her and rubs her back.

G-“ yes I am the father Mr. Kelly” he says with distaste in his voice.

Chrys POV

Why the hell would he ask that. Is he jealous that I’m with Gabe. We decided on a mutual split when we broke up.

C-“well I’m going to turn in for the night. It was nice to see you again Aiden.” I kiss Gabe and walk into the kitchen to put my ice cream away and head to the bedroom. I need a shower and to think. Today was emotional and full of people I would rather not think about.

I heard the front door open and close and I knew they left. Soon I felt hands wrap around me in the shower.

G-“are you ok babe?”

C-“yeah. Why wouldn’t I be?”

G-“I just wanted to make sure. I didn’t like how Aiden was looking at you all night.”

I flip around to face him.

C-“he’s just jealous that I’m with you and not him.” I say kissing him deeply and patiently.

We get out of the shower and dry off. He wears just boxer shorts to bed. Having his nice 6pack on display for me. I throw one of Taylor’s old sorts on and a pair of lacy underwear.

G-“Damn you look hot. How did I get so lucky?”

C-“you go lucky once and then these happened (I gesture to my belly) and then feelings grew from there.” I say with a laugh.

We curl up together in bed. I feel safe and warm in Gabes arms but I couldn’t stop thinking about Aiden. I hope he doesn’t try anything stupid but that sounds to much like Aiden. I will have to be on alert.

A few days later I’m alone in the apartment board out of my mind. I think I will stop by Gabes work then do a little more baby shopping. I put a pair of pregnancy jeans on and a black tight t-shirt. I throw on my Navy blue vans. I throw on my leather jacket and put my g*n in the special pocket. I grab my phone and purse and head out.

It’s a beautiful fall day so I walk to his office. I put my AirPods in and head down the sidewalk. I stop and grab myself a pink drink from Starbucks. I’m in a good mood. I walk into Gabes office and smile at Rob the security guard. He smiles back as I step into the elevator. I step out and see what I assume is Gabes s**t secretary giving me a stink eyes. Her desk name plate says Stacy.

C-“Hi Stacy. Is Gabe in his office?”

She looks me up and down before answering.

S-“do you have an appointment miss.”

C-“ no but I’m his girlfriend.” I say as I walk to his office and knock on the door. Despite her telling me I need to leave.

G-“come in”

I walk into his office and see Brian and a few men I don’t know.

G-“hey baby what are you doing here?”

C-“I was board so I decided to go for a walk and thought I would stop by.”

B-“hey Chrys. You seem to be getting bigger and bigger each time I see you.” He says with a chuckle.

C-“thanks Brian because that’s what ever pregnant girl with twins wants to hear.” I say in a sarcastic tone while rolling my eyes.

G-“we are just finishing up some work if you want to hang out.”

S-“ is it ok to talk about this stuff in front of her boss?”

G-“yeah. She’s not only my girlfriend and the mother of my children but she used to be one of Anthony Salvatores best.”

C-“ Chrys Rese nice to meet you” I say extending my hand to him.

S-“ Steven. Iv heard stories about you. People say you are an amazing shot and are skilled with a blade.”

C-“yes I am. I never miss my target.” I say with a smirk.

We talk and I give some insight on what would help. Gabe walks me out and kisses me in view off Stacy.

G-“I’ll see you at home in a few house baby.”

I wave to Gabe and head to the elevator and home. I walk out to the street and head into a new baby boutique to get some more stuff for the twins.
