The cab takes the address Gerard had written down for me. No, wait, I was supposed to call him George. This fake name thing was getting old particularly fast. "I know the place. Be there in a jiffy," the driver said. I closed the door behind me and leaned back in the seat, getting comfortable as I watched the city go by. The weather was still good, though there were grey clouds on the horizon, so I suspected it was only a matter of time before the rains came. But people were out and about making the most of the end of the sunshine. The cab pulled up outside the restaurant. Nerves and excitement fluttered in my stomach, and I wasn"t sure which of the two was the strongest. Nor did I want to spend too much time thinking about it. My dreams were starting to get to me.
