The court of gods and goddesses was the most opulent place in all the worlds, and it was the only place all of us ever got together. There was far too much infighting, drama, and violence for all of us to get together in one place very often. In most cases, we stuck to groups of two or three. With all of us in one place at once, I had to wonder what was going to happen. It always came out that one god was sleeping with another"s wife, or someone had another child.
And today must have been more important than I"d first realized, as a lot of the demi-gods and goddesses were also here. Typically, they weren"t allowed into the court unless they were an official consort of one of the full gods. But today was about teaching one of our own a lesson.
