“Where the f**k have you been?” Not the first words Dean intended when he saw Jay, but apparently none of them were having a good night. April had driven away bitching when she realised Dean still had the spare key and he refused to hand it over. Left with few options, Dean took vigil at Jay’s flat, while April headed back to her place, promising to check the last couple of possibilities on the way. If they didn’t hear from Jay by midnight, they agreed to check police and hospitals for accidents but none were reported on the internet on Jay’s route, and it was too soon to declare him officially missing.
