Chapter 11 He tapped, unsurprised no one answered, toyed with the idea of walking away, called himself a coward, and thumped harder. When Jay opened the door, the security chain bridged the gap. The two men stared at each other for too long before Jay closed the door enough to slip off the chain. He walked away, leaving the door to swing free. With slight hesitation, Dean went in.
