Chapter 15
“Time for something sweet.”
The look in Dean’s eyes suggested Jay might taste sweet enough, but much to Jay’s surprise, Dean snagged the box of chocolates and brought them to the floor. On one elbow, he studied the selection card, seriousness personified. Choosing one and grinning as he did so, he snapped the treat up in his fingers, set the box aside, pinned Jay to the floor, and turned his attention to Jay’s torso. Gaze flickering from left to right, he seemed to struggle with a decision.
“Now, which shall it be?” Dean sounded serious, but the twitch of his lips gave him away. He burst out laughing at whatever he saw in Jay’s eyes, making Jay chuckle.
