Chapter 29

I walk in the hallways and hold my notebook. This week is valentine week. Everything in this school all full with pink and it'll be my first valentine ever also my first valentine with my one true love.

I'm standing in front of my locker and unlock my locker but suddenly a lot of love paper with pink fall down from the ceiling. It's like a pinata. Oh my gosh, it must be Finn who did that.

The love paper is still falling down. I turn my face until I see Finn is walking down in the hallways and smiles at me. This is really sweet.

"Happy Valentines Day." Finn smiles at me.

I just smile back at him then hug him. "I love you so much. This is really sweet."

"I'll make this week as the best week in your life." Finn grins at me.

"Finn, you're not a romantic guy so just stop okay." I giggle.

"I just want to make it special because you are special." Finn smiles at me.

I just smile shyly at him then cup his cheek and kiss him softly as Finn kisses me back.

"Walk you to the choir room?" Finn shows me his hand.

"Sure, big bear." I smile at him and take his hand.

We're holding hands each other as we walk down in the hallways. Finn isnt a romantic guy but when it comes to romantic things, he is the best one.

We then enter the choir room where every couple in this room are busy with love things. Like Mike and Tina cant stop taking selfies. Brittany and Santana are sit down next to each other and lean on each other.

Finn walks to the drum then sit down there. I raise my eyebrows at him and chuckles. Finn give me the drum stick then shows me his hand. I walk to him then sit down on his lap and facing the drums as he hold my hand and teach me how to play that.

"Haha I'm gonna be a rock star!" I laugh.

"To be a rockstar you have to do this." Finn take another stick then throw it in the air and make it roll around then get that. "Like that."

"I cant do that." I shake my head.

"Yes you can." Finn chuckles.

"Okay." I nodded and try to do the things he shows to me but my it failed and my drum stick hit his head. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." I kiss his head and rub his head.

"It's okay, baby." Finn smiles at me and give me a quick kiss on my lips.

"Okay lets do this again." I said and playing the drums with Finn teach me by holding my hand.

"Okay, everybody, let's hear it for love!" Mr. Schue walks in and wrote 'worlds greatest love songs' on the white board. "Your assignment for Valentine's week is to find and perform the world's greatest love songs." Mr. Schue grins at us. We cheering and whooping happily. "Now, Regionals is next week, and we still need to raise $250 for costumes and hair spray." Mr. Schue says to us.

"Oh, God, not another bake sale." Kurt shakes his head.

"If any student gives ten dollars, we will sing these "world's greatest love songs" to their Valentine. We will serenade each classroom..." Mr. Schue got cut off.

"No!" We protest.

"Two years ago, we went room-to-room Christmas caroling, they threw food." Tina says.

"And shoes." Mike added.

Sugar suddenly raises her hand excitedly. "Yes, Sugar?" Mr. Schue asks Sugar.

Sugar grins at us then walk to the front. "Here's a spoonful of Sugar for you all: Don't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff when you're rich. So, here you go." Sugar gives some money to Mr. Schue.

"Uh, Sugar, I can't take that." Mr. Schue shakes his head.

"Take it!" Kurt rolls his eyes.

Mr. Schue takes that money from Sugar. "Okay. Everyone, give it up for Sugar for paying for our FinalNet and cumberbunds!" Mr. Schue says to us.

We are smiling happily and applauding for Sugar. "I love the sound of applause, even if I have to buy it." Sugar grins at Mr. Schue. "Okay, everyone, look under your chairs.

Except you, Artie. Your chair kept moving, so I hid your surprise in the wastebasket." Sugar says to us.

I turn my face under this drummer chair until I see a box of love shape and when I open it it's a chocolate inside. I grin at Finn and Finn smiles at me then hug me from behind.

"V-Day is my fave day ever. And to help me celebrate, my daddy's throwing me a huge, ridic party at Breadstix. And I'm naming it the Sugar Shack. And drumroll, Madison." Sugar says. I take those drum sticks and plays the drum. "You're all invited!" Sugar says excitedly to us. We are cheering happily at each other. "But you have to bring a date. No single people allowed. They're sad and boring and they don't exist in my world." Sugar says to us.

"Um, but you're single." Mercedes says to Sugar.

"Not for long." Sugar says proudly.

"This is the best of my first valentines ever!" I smile at Finn.

"Mine too." Finn hug me from behind then kisses my cheek.

The bell rings.

"I'm hungry. You dont want to buy me food?" I ask Finn.

"I want to without you ask me." Finn smiles at me.

"Stop being so cheesy and so sweet." I kiss his cheek. "Okay lets go." I said to Finn and stand up from my seat.

I walk lead him to get out from the choir room. Finn didnt say anything or not even hold my hand or catch me like he used to.

I turn around but I dont see him behind me. Where the hell did he go? That fast? Seriously? Oh God.

Suddenly someone poke my shoulder from behind. I turn around and I see Finn is holding many love balloons and smiling at me then give that balloons to me.

"I hate youuuuuuu." I groan. "It's not even a day yet but you already really so sweet." I whimpered.

"I'm a romantic guy right?" Finn grins at me.

"The most romantic guy in the world. Thank you so much, my big guy." I smile at him.

"Come on, you said that you're hungry." Finn shows me his hand.

I take his hand and hold his hand with my left hand and my right hand holding these love balloons. It's just really sweet and I never imagine he could do all these thing.

We keep walking until we got into the cafetaria. Finn takes the food tray. "One tray for two?" I raise my eyebrows at him.

"Sure." Finn nodded and pick up some food.

I just follow him and choose the food I want while holding these balloons. Until Finn walk to the cashier and pay for the food then we walk to find our table until I see Kurt, Puck, Tina, Mike, Artie, and Rory already there.

"Hey guys." I smile at them and sit down opposite Finn next to Kurt.

"Wow this is cafetaria not a playground where you can bring balloons." Puck says.

"Come on, dude. This is valentines day. Every girlfriend deserves that." Finn says to Puck.

"You heard that?" I glare at Puck.

"So Puck, which one are you gonna take to Sugar's V-Day party?" Tina asks Puck.

"All of them." Puck says.

"The entire sorority?" Artie frowns.

"They don't call them the 'E-Z-Dee-Zees' for nothing. I got the gig cleaning the sorority house swimming pool, then I sawed through those chicks like a freakin' s*x tornado room to room." Puck says to us.

"You're amazing." Rory says.

"I'm a professional." Puck says proudly.

"Tried the true love thing With a teacher." Mike chuckles.

"Wasn't for me." Puck shakes his head.

"Well, it is for me." Kurt says and shows us his love card. "And apparently it's for Blaine, too. Even from his sick bed, he's managed to send me a new Valentine's Day card every single day this week." Kurt grins at us.

"It says from your secret admirer." Artie frowns as he looked at that card.

"So romantic." Kurt grins at us.

"There is nothing more romantic than having a camp with little bonfire and barbeque then ended with telling story to one another and snuggle." I giggle.

"Yes and the day after that you got sick." Kurt simply said.

"I wasnt sick because of that." I protest.

The others just chuckle at us. I turn my face at Finn and smiles at him. Then suddenly a gorilla come to cafetaria bring a balloons then give a card to Kurt.

"A gorilla gram? Pour moi? 'To Kurt.

From your secret admirer.' Again. Well, I wonder who it could be." Kurt chuckles. "Will you tell me who it is, Valentine gorilla?" Kurt asked that Gorilla. He just shakes his head and give those balloons to Kurt then walk off. "You see, Puckerman, that's what you're missing out on: True love." Kurt says to Puck. "What about you, Rory? Who are you taking to Sugar's party?" Kurt turn his face at Rory.

"Sugar." Rory simply answer.

"Hold up. You better have an option B because I'm all over that." Artie protest.

"You're going with Sugar?" Rory asks Artie.

"As soon as I ask her out, and she says yes, which I'm sure she will because I don't mean this to sound mean, Irish but nobody understands anything you say." Artie says to Rory.

"Baloney. Chicks dig accents." Rory says proudly.

"I'm sorry, what was that? Couldn't quite make it out." Artie glares at Rory.

"Fellas, there's no need to fight. You can just pick up the girls that fall off old Puckerosaurus here." Puck says to them.

"This is a four-leaf clover, kid. 'Cause you're going to need all the luck you can get." Rory says to Artie.

"Do you people just carry those around?" Kurt frowns

"Let's Road House, Flanagan." Artie glares at Rory then wheel away until Rory start off from here.

"They're not serious, if they were serious, they would beat at each other like me and Sam." Finn whisper at me.

"Finn. Forget it." I said to Finn.

"Finn, would you accompany me to Blaine's after school?" Kurt asks Finn.

"Cant. Will accompany my girlfriend to get Mike back." Finn shakes his head.

"Me?" Mike frowns.

"It's my puppy. Mike Wazoski. My dad sent him to pet care since he become weird and today we decided to pick him up." I said to them.

"That white fluffy puppy?" Tina frowns at me.

"Yep. He became crazy and I dont know what's wrong with him." I sigh.

Finn just half-smiled at me and hold my hand. I hope that when I pick Mike from the pet care today, his condition will be better.

"It's arrived." Finn says as he parks his car in front of his house.

I just being quiet and sit down on the front passenger. We cant get Mike back because after all he is sick and right when we came there Mike died. The pet care staff told me that since the first time he never get vaccination. I didnt know about that first because Aaron was the one who gave Mike to me.

"Hey, dont be sad okay." Finn holds my hand.

"I shouldnt yell at him when he broke my snow globe or peeing my shoes." My eyes glacing.

"Maddy..." Finn grabs my body and hug me. "Just think that this week is valentines week." Finn rubs my hair.

"I'm gonna miss him." I said sadly.

"Miss him or the guy who gave that to you?" Finn raises his eyebrows at me.

"Finn, I dont wanna fight with you okay." I frown at Finn.

"But you texted him." Finn simply said.

"I just texted him that his dog died. Is that wrong? I didnt run at him or make a stupid bet with him." I protest.

"It was the past. I apologized to you and we're clear with that!"

"Then why are you yell at me like that? If you mad at me or whatever just go ahead. I just texted him and told him that his dog died. Not choose him over you or make a stupid bet with him." I glare at him and went out from Finn's car.

"It was before we dating okay!" Finn protest.

"But did you ever think about what I felt that day? You ran over me twice for the same person, Finn and you told me that you wont let anyone else make me cry but who was the one made me cried? You!" I yelled at him.

"Why are you bring this into our conversation?!" Finn yelled at me.

"Because you can easily mad at me when I make a little wrong thing but why I cant mad at you when you ran over me twice to Rachel?! I want you to realize that." I yell at him and cry.

"You mad at me because I asked you why are you text Aaron? You're crazy or something? I'm your boyfriend and that's my rights to ask you that." Finn protest.

"Now give me your phone." I'm sobbing and show my hand to him.

"For what?" Finn frowns at me.

"To prove you that you lied to me." I said to him.

"I didnt lie to you!" Finn protest.

"Just give me that phone!" I yelled at him.

Finn takes his phone from his pocket and give it to me. I unlock his phone and read his text and right he was texting with Rachel last night. I just lock his phone and give it back to him and turn my way about to walk off.

"Maddy, I'm sorry!" Finn catches my hand.

"The things you said in choir room was a lie? Finn, how could you do that to me? I though you never lie to me because you always said to keep honest at each other but what is that? You texting with Rachel when I'm not around?" I'm crying.

"She just apologized. She texted me and apologized to me." Finn trying to hold my hand.

"Now I know why you become weird today. Just run over me again to her and remember who loves you for the way you are." I'm crying and push his hand away.

"Maddy! Baby! Please, I'm really sorry." Finn catches my hand.

"No. I never lie to you but you lie to me over and over again." I'm crying and push his hand away then run to my house.

Finn was trying to follow me to get me but I close my house door with a loud bang and still crying.

"Honey?" Dad went out from his office room and frowns at me.

I didnt say anything and turn my way to the stairs and run to upstairs until I get into my room. I close my room door and lock it. But I gasped when I see my room.

It's full with pink balloons. A bouquet of red roses on the bed and a box of chocolate on my study table. Finn did this to me? It's really sweet but I'm mad at him because he lied to me.

I walk to my bed and lay my body on my bed and hug a pillow and still crying. How the hell Finn could do that when everything he made a special valentine for me?

"Honey, dinner is ready!" Dad yelled from downstairs.

I wipe my tears and look at my self from the mirror. My eyes is really puffy because I've been crying since three hours ago. I walk to the bathroom and wash my face but it's still look puffy.

I went out from my room and walk downstairs. I'm not hungry actually. I'm just thinking about what Finn has done to me today.

"You okay, honey?" Dad frowns at me.

"Just fell asleep without wash my face first." I simply said and sit down on the dining table.

"Ugh forget to give this brochure to Carole. You want to come there and give it to her?" Dad asks me.

"Yeah sure." I simply nodded and stand up from my seat.

"If you dont want to, I can go." Dad says to me.

"No. That's okay. I need to take my proposal from Kurt." I said to dad and take that brochure then went out from my house.

I just hope that I dont see Finn or anything. I turn my way to Finn's house and knock the door of his house until someone open the door and it's his mom.

"Hey, honey." Finn's mom smiles at me.

"Want to give this from dad and is Kurt home?" I ask her and give her the brochure.

"He isnt home but he said that if you came and want to take the proposal it's his room on his table. Just come there." Finn's mom smiles at me.

"Okay, thank you." I half-smiled at her and turn my way.

"Honey, are you okay? You look like someone who just cried." Finn's mom asks me.

"I'm fine." I fake-smile at her and walk upstairs.

For the fact. I'm not. Her son was the one who make me cried like this. I walk upstairs and turn my way to Kurt's room but I see Finn is laying down on the sofa in family room and holding something.

He suddenly sit up and turn his face at me. I turn my face away and walk enter Kurt's room. I was hoping that I dont wanna meet him but I met him.

I enter Kurt's room and take the proposal on his table and right this is what I want. I hold that proposal then went out from Kurt's room. I look at the sofa but it's empty.

I turn my way to the stairs and walk passed Finn's room but suddenly Finn catches my hand and pull me into his room then he lock the door and hold that key into his pocket.

"I dont wanna talk to you." I simply said. "Give me that key and let me go out of here." I said to him.

"No." Finn shakes his head.

"What do you want, Finn Hudson?! You want to me make me cry again?" I yelled at him.

"Listen to me this time!" Finn yelled back at me. I didnt say anything but turn my face away as tears fall down to my face. "I'm sorry. Listen to me please."

"Do you realize what you've done? You made all those sweet things but you lied to me and I hate that!"

"I'm sorry! I'm really sorry okay but could you please let me explain to you everything!" Finn hold my sleeves.

"You want to run over me to Rachel? Go ahead do that." I'm crying.

"I know I did a stupid thing again but Madison please trust me, I love you more than anything and I never meant to hurt you. Could you please understand? This is the last time. I promise you. I know I'm so stupid. I'm really sorry that I made you cry again and again."

"She is prettier than me, she is more talented than me, and she is smarter than me. I'm stupid and I'm just a new kid at McKinley and is it wrong if I mad when I know my boyfriend texted his ex-girlfriend?" I'm crying.

"No. Not wrong at all. I was the one who wrong not you. You're more beautiful than her, you're the most beautiful girl that I've ever seen. You're more talented than her, Maddy. You can play four different music instrumental. Just-just stop compare yourself with her. You're everything I need and I want. I love you so much and it's sucks to see you cry like this even it's more sucks when I knew that I was the one who make you cry." Finn says to me. I didnt say anything but still crying and looking at him. Finn take his phone from his table and type something. "I block her number and I deleted all those texts also my photos with her. You can check it out." Finn give his phone to me.

I look at his phone and he really did what he said. He delete all those photos of Rachel and him together. I just turn my face at him and he put some stuff inside a box.

"What are you doing?" I ask him.

Finn didnt answer me but keep put some stuff inside that box then he unlock his room door and went out from his room. I place his phone on his side table then weny out from his room to follow him.

He walk downstairs then take matches and turn his way to backyard. I keep following him until Finn place that box on the ground then throw some light matches to burn that box.

"Finn, what are you doing?" I frown at him.

"To prove you that I really meant what I said!" Finn yelled at me.

"Finn..."

Finn just turn his face at me then hug me really tight. "I'm so sorry. I'm really sorry. I shouldnt be like that. I was lost. I burn all stuff from Rachel because I never want to see you cry again. Look at to your eyes it's full with tears that I made. I know I lied to you but I promise I wont lie to you ever again. I'm sorry please forgive me." Finn's sobbing and rubs my back. "I promise you this is the last time and I will learn something from this. It's just I dont wanna lose you ever again."

"You wont." I shake my head and wipe his tears away. "I just cant mad at you when I really want to because you place all those cute and sweet things in my room! I hate you!" I yelled at him.

"You hate me?" Finn asks me innocently.

"I hate you because I really love you and please just stop being so sweet or anything because that's not really you."

Finn just chuckles then walk closer to me then hug me really tight. "I love you more. Do you like those balloons? And that rose?"

"Thank you. That's really sweet." I hug him back.

Finn kisses my head and keep hugging me and seems like nobody want to leave each other. I know as long as we fight, we always can make it up.

"So you know who told your parents about that proposal thing?" Santana asks me as we walk in the school courtyard together.

"It was Rachel. She claimed by herself. But Finn and I already told the truth to our parents so they agree with us and totally fine with that." I said to Santana.

"But I like when you and Finn together. He back to being himself. Like no one bossing him. He become a better person." Santana smiles at me.

"Really?" I chuckle. "I didnt realize that."

"Seriously, he is so much better person than I am." Santana smiles at me.

"I hope that he really changed." I giggle.

Suddenly Mercedes, Sam, Quinn, and Mr. Book-Man that I ever met in library and give me advice block my way.

"Mr. Book-Man!" I grin at him.

"My name's Joe and we are The God Squad." He smiles at me.

"Are you Miss Madison Collins?" Mercedes grins at me.

"Yes." I raise my eyebrows at them.

"Well, we're the God Squad, and we're here to deliver a Vocal Valentine from one Finn Hudson." Mercedes grins at me and give me a stalk of red rose. I just raise my eyebrows and grin at them.

Suddenly some choir from a church come. They wore pink the dress and harmonizing singing this song. This is really sweet.

Joe (Sam):

"Oh my God, you guys!" I smile happily.

"Happy Valentine's Day. Love, Finn." Mercedes smiles at me.

"This is super sweet. Thank you, guys." I smile at them.

"So you guys are a Christian group?" Santana asks them.

"Yes." Joe nodded.

"And if I pay, I can send a Vocal Valentine to anybody I want, right?" Santana asks.

"Ten bucks. That's the deal." Joe nodded.

"Well, awesome." Santana says and take the money from her pocket and give it to them. "In that case, I would like to send one to my girlfriend Brittany. And by that, I don't mean my friend who's a girl. I mean my girlfriend girlfriend. How does that sound?" Santana smirks at them.

They just being quiet. Especially Joe. I remember that he was the one who gave me advice from a bible and I know he is kinda religious one.

"Come on, Madison." Santana takes my hand and walks lead me.

I just turn my face at this rose and looking at this rose. It's beaitiful and I really like that. Finn is super sweet.

I'm sitting down on dining table and looking at the vase flowers with the rose that Finn gave me yesterday.

"That's beautiful." Dad sit down next to me.

"From Finn. Also those balloons in my bedroom." I giggle.

"Can guess that easily because I was the one who let him to decorate your room." Dad chuckles. "Honey, can I ask you something?"

"You have a girlfriend?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Why you always afraid if I have a girlfriend?" Dad frowns at me.

"Because I'm afraid that you will share your love to someone else and for me it's hard to share because I got those full things in my life and when it comes to fifty fifty, I'm afraid." I shake my head. "Besides I watched in some movie that some dads will change when a new mother comes like he doesnt trust his daughter anymore but the fact his daughter didnt wrong or anything."

"You really afraid if I have a new girlfriend huh?" Dad asks me. I just nodded and keep looking at that flowers. "And what if your step-mother was Carole, you still afraid?"

"Terrified because I cant marry Finn."

"For my entire life I substitute you for a wife or a girlfriend and I dont need that anymore. That's not the things I want to ask, honey. But I'm so proud of you because you never lie to me about what you feel and what you think." Dad kisses my head.

"Then what is the thing you wanna ask?" I turn my face at dad.

"Last night, what was that? I heard you and Finn yelled at each other then Carole also told me that you both fighted in Finn's room." Dad frowns at me.

"We fighted. We wanted to pick Mike from pet care but we cant because Mike died and then....."

"Wait, I'm still alive." Dad frowns.

"I meant the dog. The other Mike not you okay. I dont want you to leave me." I giggle.

"No. I wont." Dad smiles at me. "Then?"

"Then, I texted Aaron and told him that his dog died. Finn mad at me because of that. I told him that wasnt a wrong thing to do. Then I remember Kurt told me that Finn texted with Rachel. So I told Finn to show me his phone and right then we fighted and I'm sorry I just got in and bang the door then ran to my room. Last night, when you told me to came there, Finn was there. He locked us in his room and we fighted again until he blocked Rachel's number and burned all his stuff from Rachel until he apologized because he lied to me but now we're back to normal." I explain.

"Hmm... I see. I didnt know that texting can make a couple fight. When I was young there was no texting so we never fight about that." Dad chuckles and take a drink from the fridge.

"Then find a girlfriend in this era." I roll my eyes.

"Girlfriend? You were the one who doesnt want me to have a girlfriend, honey." Dad chuckles.

"If that can make you happy, I'm fine. Dad, I want you to be happy." I said to him.

"You think I'm unhappy? I'm happy. I'm happy to have you in my life. To see you grow up fast and feels like yesterday I saw you cried on a crib and want a milk. But you grow up. You made me proud with many achievement you made. The thing in my mind is how to make you happy it's on number one. Then having a girlfriend is on number 126." Dad smiles at me.

"Now, I wanna ask you, why you asked me that?" I smirk at him.
