Chapter 33

"Come on, Finn. Dont be afraid to move your feet." I roll my eyes.

"You really need that suit?" Finn asks me.

"Well, actually not. I just want you to go out from your comfort zone. I want to show the world that my boyfriend can dance." I sit down on the edge of his bed.

"Babe, look it's raining outside." Finn says as he look at the window.

"Do you remember when we sang a song during the rain fell down and wondering why there is rain in this world." I chuckle.

"Yeah. Then we make out." Finn walk closer to me and smirks at me.

"No, there is no in our childhood memories." I chuckle and move my seat.

"You cant run away from me this time." Finn smirks at me.

I chuckle and push his body away then run to the corner of his room. Finn laughs then run to me. I rub around his room to avoid him until I got to the corner and a big thunder suddenly start trumbling and blackout.

"Finn... are you there? I'm scared." I said.

"I'm here. I'm here. Dont worry." Finn says.

I cant see anything. It's totally blackout and it's only me and him in this house. "Finn, dont leave me alone, I cant see anything."

"No, I'm here. Where are you now?" Finn asks me.

"On the corner, I guess." I said.

"I got my phone." Finn says.

There is a little light in this room. I walk to that light and great I got Finn's body and hug him. Finn turns the light to me and right it's really him.

"Come here." Finn says to me and bring me to the bed.

I sit down on the bed with my back against the wall. "You dont have any flashlight or something?"

"I'm looking for that right now." Finn says.

I just sit down on his bed and hug the pillow. I can hear that Finn is looking for something on his drawer. I know that as long as I'm with him I'll be fine.

"We cant rehearsal for the disco tomorrow." I let out a sigh.

"I'm happy for that." Finn says and the light from flashlight lightning.

Finn shoot that flashlight to my face. "Finn!" I cover my face with my hand.

"Haha we can have little camp here." Finn chuckles and sit down next to me.

"Dont leave me alone." I lean my head on his shoulder.

"I wont. This is not a crack house and no sliding knife and you're safe with me." Finn kisses my head.

"Now. This is remind me when your mom left us to her work and my dad had work out of the city and we locked in your house. We pretend like we had a camp in your room with a mini tend." I chuckle.

"I always remember every moment I did with you." Finn says to me.

"For example?" I ask him.

"When you fell down because of a wire and you cried. I came to you and put a plaster on your knee and lift you up on my back. But the one I remember the most is when I kissed you and ran away." Finn chuckles.

Suddenly the light start lightning again. No more darkness and I guess we can continue for the disco rehearsal tomorrow.

"Yeah the light is back!" I said happily.

"We can sleep." Finn lay his body on the bed.

"We cant." I smirk at him and lay on my stomach next to him.

"What are you gonna do?" Finn rubs my cheek.

"This." I smirk at him and push my face closer to him.

I kiss Finn and Finn kisses me back until he make it passionately and we have make out and Finn roll my body around then he is ontop of me and still kissing me then kiss my neck and left a hickey on my neck.

"You didnt laugh." Finn chuckle.

"I can handle that ticklish now." I giggle. "Okay back to reharsal for the disco." I push his body away slowly and sit up.

"God, no!" Finn sighs.

I walk to his table and play the music from his iPod. I turn my face at Finn and he just sit down on the edge of his bed and looking at me.

Madison:

"Yeaaay we did it!" I said happily.

"But that wasnt disco." Finn says.

"But your feet need warm up. Besides that was upbeat song and it was good and I just realize this is first time we have duet." I smile at Finn.

"Our love story more beautiful than a love duet song." Finn giggles.

"That was cheesy." I chuckle and take his laptop. "And since you dont have any disco song so we'll search some inspiration about disco." I said and sit down on the sofa in front of his bed.

"Okay but stay here for a night." Finn hug me from behind.

"Without you ask, I will stay here since my dad went to Indianapolis and I'm alone and it's raining outside." I said and keep looking at his laptop.

"Why you did this to me?" Finn asks me.

"Because I love you." I simply said. "Simple as that."

"You're the best thing in my life." Finn kisses my head and pull me closer to him.

I'm just smiling and browsing some website. I just want Finn be the best he can be. Some people underestimate him because he cant dance but I dont see that any at all.

I walk down in the hallways and hold my notebook with my project for the senior class president.

"Hey, Mercedes. My dad saw your video on youtube when you sang Disco Inferno and he told me that one of friends in L.A in Sony Music kinda interest with you. He is his card and you can call him." I smile at Mercedes and give her a card.

"What?" Mercedes frowns. "What video?"

"Sam didnt tell you that he posted a video when you sang Disco Inferno to youtube? Well it was really good. My dad likes it. Good luck with that." I smile at her and walk away.

Yeah Mercedes and Santana already showed their disco in choir room meanwhile Finn isnt. I cant wait for his performance today in choir room.

I turn my way and open my locker then put my notebook into my locker and check my list. Then put chapstick into my lips.

"Maddy, I already choose three best theme for prom and I want you to choose the best one." Kurt standing next to me.

"What's that?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Hollywood, jungle, and sadie hawkins. Which one you like?" Kurt asks me.

"Hollywood. I'm afraid if we held sadie hawkins there will be another girl ask Finn and Finn cant ssy no, I dont want let it happen." I said to Kurt.

"Alright. This is the proposal. Just refise this and discuss it with the McKinley School Council Treasure Club." Kurt says to me and give me a proposal.

"Okay." I nodded and read that proposal a bit.

"Hey, future wife." Finn kisses my head and standing behind me.

"How?" Kurt asks me.

"Just need little bit refise here. I will held the meeting tomorrow and I'll make sure in two weeks we will have our prom. Thanks Kurt." I smile at Kurt and put that proposal into my locker.

"Where were you last night, dude?" Finn asks Kurt.

"Stayed in Blaine because the rain all night long." Kurt says. "Okay I have to go. See you in glee club." Kurt smiles at us and walk away.

"Kurt, can I ask you something?" Finn yelled and run to Kurt.

I shrug and turn my face back to my locker and organizing my locker a bit. Then Finn walk back to me.

"What happened?" I ask Finn.

"Just bro to bro things." Finn answer. "Hey do you already tell the others that you get into Pace?"

"No. Not yet. Only you and my dad who know that." I said to Finn. "Finn, can I ask you something?"

"What's that?"

"What did you feel when you know your mom loves another guy besides your dad?" I raise my eyebrows at Finn.

"I felt awful at first. But Burt was cool you know. He knows sports like I do. Wait, what happened?" Finn frowns at me.

"I guess my dad is in love." I sigh and shut my locker and start walking. "I mean, I dont mind with that but I dont want to have a step-mother or step-siblings. My dad is enough for me. I dont know what to do."

"Your dad wont do that if he knows you dont like it right?" Finn says to me.

"Yeah but he sang love song everyday especially those Billie Joel's love song." I roll my eyes.

"Maddy, just because he loves singing love song doesnt mean he is in love." Finn rubs my hair.

"But I'm like that. I sang love song when I'm in love and he is my dad. My biological father. It's sound like impossible if he didnt do the same thing." I frown at Finn.

"Or maybe your mom did. You know. You're combination between your dad and that woman right." Finn says to me.

"Like I dont like broccolli but my dad did and my dad told me that my mom just like me." I said to Finn.

"Well, maybe." Finn nodded.

"I guess I need to ask my dad directly." I simply said and keep walking with Finn until we turn our way to the choir room.

We enter the choir room and everyone already there except Mr. Schue and coach Sylvester. I just sit down on the front row with Finn next to me.

"Alright guys are you ready for the last performance of our finalist today?" Mr. Schue walks in and grins at us.

The other start cheering excitedly. Finn grins at us then walk out from the choir room for changing his clothes maybe.

I'm just sitting down and waiting for him. We've been practicing since the first day and I dont want Finn ruin this.

Finn walk back to the choir room with his new clothes like John Travolta style. Actually I wanna laugh a bit but I hold it. No. He is my boyfriend and I should support him not laugh at him.

"I'm ready Mr. Schue." Finn grins at us.

"Take the floor, Finn." Mr. Schue says to Finn.

"But before that, I want to all the couples in this room dance with me because this song is quiet romantic." Finn smirks at us.

"What?" I frown.

The song I choose for him not romantic at all. It just another disco songs. Finn points to the band and the band start playing the music. Santana, Brittany, Blaine, Kurt, Mike, and Tina are standing on the stage ready to dance with Finn. Finn takes my hand lead me to dance with him.

"Finn, that was incredible! You can dance!" Mercedes chuckles.

"Well, my dance teacher was more incredible." Finn smirks at me.

"And the most incredible is the news. You dont wanna tell us?" Mr. Schue smiles at me.

"Come on, tell them." Finn says to me.

"Okay so... I got into Pace." I said happily at them.

"What? That's really amazing, Madison." Blaine smiles at me.

"Well, at first I though I didnt get that so I send another letter to Ohio State but last week my Pace letter came and I got in." I smile at them.

"You deserve that. Congratulations." Quinn smiles at me.

"Thank you guys so much for all the support and those presure you guys gave me because without all those thing, I will be nothing." I said to them.

"We are so proud of you, Madison." Mercedes smiles at me then stand up from her seat and hug me until the rest follow her and we are hugging each other.

I'm sitting down on the sofa in living room and looking at my laptop while turning on the tv. Nothing to do so I better refise some documents for the prom coming over.

"This is what some people called extravagance. Turn on the tv but nobody watch it." Dad suddenly turn off the tv.

"Dad, I'm watching that." I groan.

"No. You busy with your laptop." Dad simply said and sit down on the another sofa.

"Since you are here so I can turn on the tv again." I take the tv remote and turn on the tv.

"Maddy...."

"Daddy...."

"Since when my daughter become like this huh." Dad pinch my cheeks.

"Dad, can we go to the mall?" I grin.

"For?" Dad raises his eyebrows.

"Buy prom dress and the shoes and hairspray and maybe some little accessories." I giggle.

"Prom? Last year you didnt went to prom." Dad chuckles.

"Yeah because I cant walk and you didnt let me but now, I was the one who made that prom theme so I have to go. Okay shopping and buy those prom stuff pleaseeee. You work only for me."

"Well that's true. I work only for you. No one else. I work to pay those bills and when you begged me like 'dad I want this please buy it for me' like that." Dad says to me.

"But you never refuse it." I pouted at him.

"I cant. You're my only one and if you ask me to buy you something but I cant give you that, I will feel guilty later." Dad says.

"Seriously?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Yes. I'm afraid it will make you sad you got everything you want not everything but 90% you got it right. That's it." Dad says to me.

"Dad, it's kinda personal actually but I wanna ask you something and you have to be honest with me. Remember you cant lie to Madison."

"Okay what's that, princess?" Dad asks me.

"Are you in love with someone else now?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Haha no. Why would you think like that?" Dad laughs.

"Because you always sang a love song nowadays." I frown at him.

"Just because I sang a love song doesnt mean I'm in love, honey. I played the cd you gave me in the car while driving to work and it felt really good and the song stuck in my mind so I cant help to not sing it." Dad says to me.

"But I sing love song when I'm in love." I said.

"Well, that's your mom, not me." Dad half-smiled at me.

"What things you and I have in common?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Umm chips, animated movie, then we both can play same music instrumental, what else? I cant count because too much. Oh Jennifer Aniston." Dad grins at me.

"Dad!" I chuckle.

"Haha but seriously, you dont even realize that our initial name are same right?" Dad chuckles.

"Because you love mac too much so our initial name are mac." I laugh.

"I love you too much." Dad pinch my cheek. "In few months. You'll graduate and go to college and I'll be alone here." Dad sighs.

"Dad, you can follow me to New York actually." I said to dad.

"Then I will follow you to stay in the dorm or your studio apartment?" Dad raises his eyebrows at me. "No. If I follow you there, you have no reason to come home. If I stay here, you have a lot of reason to come home like me or Finn." Dad grins at me.

"But you okay if you alone? Who will cook you dinner every night? Who will make you breakfast? What if you really want to talk to someone but I'm not around? What-what if you sick?" I frown.

"Honey, I'll be fine. I can call you anytime I want. I can talk with Carole and Burt next door. After all this time, who cook for dinner? I did. And you usually wake up when all the breakfast already prepared. I'm fine." Dad smiles at me.

"The one that I worry the most is not Finn. But you. Or maybe I should enter Ohio State so I dont need to stay in dorm. Columbus to here only need to drive about 2 hours every day. That's fine." I said to dad.

"New York is your dream. Pace is the best college for you okay. Just go there and I'll be fine. You can go to college and join that film and theater major. I'm fine."

"Okay, I let you have a wife. But a woman aged more than 40th or at the same age with you and doesnt have any child so you wont divided your love to any other child because you know that I'm a big jealous one if it's come to you." I said to dad.

"No. I dont need that one. I have you and it's enough. Now continue your thing, I'm gonna prepare for dinner." Dad rubs my hair and walk off.

"Can I help you?" I walk to the kitchen.

"Sure." Dad simply nodded. "So what do you want for dinner tonight, princess?"

"Anything but health. I want to cook because Finn said that my cook isnt good." I giggle.

"He did?" Dad frowns.

"Well yeah he did." I nodded.

"Well.....he is right." Dad chuckles.

"Ugh you both are same." I roll my eyes.

Dad just laugh and take food ingredients from the frigde. I sit down on the minibar table and looking at him prepare for the food. He really need a wife, I guess.

I'm sitting down on my table in Mckinley School Council Treasure Club meeting room. My mind is wandering. I cant concentrate. I cant stop thinking about my dad.

"Madison, you agree right?" Tina called me.

I turn my face at them and raise my eyebrows. "Ugh what? I'm sorry. I was out the focus."

"You okay? You've been sit down there all day and being quiet." Blaine frowns at me. "Fight with Finn?"

"No. It's not about Finn. It's my dad. Does anyone of you here live only with single parent?" I ask them.

They just shake their head and half-smiled at me. I know that maybe I'm the only one in choir room who lives with a single parent.

"What's wrong? You can tell us." Tina frowns at me.

"I think I'm gonna find a date for my dad. He cant substitute me for a wife forever. Like this, I got into Pace and I have to live in New York, I asked him to follow me to New York but he doesnt want to but if he stay here, he'll be alone. I dont know what to do." I sigh.

"I think that your dad is really fine with being single." Sam says.

"But your dad is one of those hot man alive. You better keep him to stay single or any of those twentieth ladies get him." Sugar says to me.

"He is 45th. And I only let him to date a woman with the same age with him. He is 45th and he is unmarried. I was born when he was 27th. We lived in Manchester until when I was 18th months, my mom left us out of nowhere. So my dad brough me out of England and we moved to Canada. When I enter elementary school I asked my dad where was my mom and he said that they both divorced when I was two. But on my sophomore year before I move here, my grandma told me everything. My dad and my mom never married. When I was born, they decided to keep me together until my mom broke her promises and left us." I said to them.

"I cant believe that he can raise you alone. Mostly, a dad who usually leave their kids but not for you. Your dad really take the responsobility." Tina says to me.

"Yeah I know that and that's why I want him to be happy but he always said that he doesnt need that one or anything." I let out a sigh.

The bell rings.

"Well, I'm sorry if my story bothering you guys. But thank you for the meeting and listen to me." I half-smiled at them and take those files.

"It's okay." Blaine smiles at me.

I half-smiled at them and walk off from this meeting room. Yeah I guess I should find a date for my dad but I dont know where. I dont want my dad get a date from online dating. I want him have a real date.

"Maddy! Maddy!"

I turn around and Finn called me then run to me. "What is this silent treatment? For everything I did, I'm sorry okay." Finn says to me.

"I didnt ignore you." I frown at him.

"But you walk in the hallways passed me and didnt smile at me or anything. What's wrong?" Finn frowns at me.

"I think I cant go to New York until my dad get a date or a wife." I sigh.

"What happened?"

"I cant leave my dad alone, Finn. He said that he'll be fine but I'm not sure with that. He cant substitute me for wife forever. One day I will get married and have a husband." I said to Finn.

"Your dad can live with us when we get married. Maddy, he is the one who doesnt want to get married. He is the one who doesnt want to be in love so just let him. I'm afraid that if you find him a date, it will hurt him. Just let your dad. Besides you can go home every weekend." Finn holds my hand.

"I dont know what to do." I sigh.

Finn pulls my hand and hug me. "He will be fine. I will take him care when you not around for you. He is like my another father you know. Then after we finish our college, we can get engaged and get married and your dad will live with us. Dont worry about that." Finn rubs my hair.

I push his body away slowly and smile at him. "I'm so glad I have you in my life." I hug him.

"Me too." Finn smiles back at me and push his face closer to me and kisses me softly.

I hold his hand and kiss him back until we pull our lips away each other. "I'm hungry. Want to carry me to cafetaria?"

"Sure. Why not?" Finn grins at me and put his hand around my shoulder.

"Last night I helped my dad to cook and you cant mock me anymore about my cook." I said to Finn.

"Okay that's cool." Finn chuckles and kisses my head.

I just chuckle and put my hand around Finn's waist as we walk together in the hallways and turn our way to the cafetaria.
