Camilla's POV I was working in the garden behind the pack house, carefully tending to the flowers, when I felt someone approaching. I recognized Malakai's scent long before I saw him. It was a nice smell, a mix of fresh pine and something that felt uniquely his own. Just as I was noticing him, he spoke up. "You know, if you keep frowning at those flowers like that, they might just wilt from being scared," he said with a playful tone. A small smile formed on my face.
