Chapter Twelve DESTINY CLIMBED OUT of the car, staring around at the place. The Daydreamer Inn was a quaint looking structure on the outside, the four-story building seeming to have been brought from another time period to Black Hollow. She stood on the sidewalk as she stared around at the rest of the town, most of the buildings looking fairly much like the others around them. It was just past lunch, and it surprised her that there weren’t more people out and about, but the streets looked almost deserted. “Come on,” Carter said as he rounded the car, gesturing toward the front door. “We need to get you inside and off the streets. I’m not sure who might be watching the place. You said you told Sandie last night that we were coming, right?” She nodded as she opened her mother’s car door.
