Adriano Her words echoed in my ears. “Just kill me… NOW!” I stared at her broken body on the floor. She looked so small and weak. Part of me hated her for being nothing special. But something inside me wouldn’t let me end it. My hands shook. This wasn’t me. I always knew what to do. But now... I felt lost. She didn’t cry or beg like she always did and that made everything worse. I let go of her throat. Not because I felt sorry for her. Because I was angry at myself. She fell hard to the floor. Her breathing was rough and broken. The red marks on her neck were like my signature. She should have been scared. But when she looked at me, I saw pure hate. It burned right through me. “You want death?” I hissed, crouching down to her level. “No. You don’t get to choose the easy way out.”
