Azalea “Who are you?” Chiara demanded, her voice shaking but trying to sound brave. “Show yourself right now!” The way she was trying to act tough almost made me want to laugh, but nothing about this terrifying situation was funny. “Answer me—” Before she could finish her demand, another gunshot exploded through the air. “Ahh!” I screamed, curling myself into a tight ball on the cold floor.
