Melanie's POV
I walk as fast as my legs could carry
I felt fear run through my body as I continued my journey
Something in me was telling me I made the wrong decision by leaving the camp and endangering myself.
I walk for hours until I notice a particular tree, and then I realized I was almost in the village.
I hissed in relief as I kept on walking while seizing my breath in fear.
I kept on walking until I notice I was in our boundary.
I ran as fast as my legs could carry me until I notice the palace guards at the boundary.
One saw me and pointed me to the others, I felt fear run through my and was about to run away when they called me back
“Don't be scared Melanie we won't hurt you, the king sent us to you, please come closer ".they pleaded
