Chapter 7Jace had emptied half a glass of wine while waiting for Felicity to bring up Paxton. “He’s hot.” And there it was. Felicity grinned at him, and Jace rolled his eyes. “I know.” “And he likes you.” Jace shook his head. “He doesn’t know me.” She grinned, trailing the rim of her glass with a finger. Her nails matched her hair. “But he wants to get to know you.” “What makes you say that?” Jace’s heart did not beat faster—if he repeated those words to himself enough times, it might be true. “The way he was looking at you, not to mention the flirting.” Frowning, Jace moved his glass a little to the right only to move it back to its original position again. “What flirting?” Paxton had never flirted with him. “The labels and stuff.” “Eating my pretzels is flirting?” She shrugged
