Later in the evening , Sofia was sited with her friends, Rita and Blessing, (liquor pours into a wine cup),

“Sofia! is your boss handsome? Blessing questioned Sofia raising up her eye brows, dropping a slit smile.

“Why do you ask? Sofia questioned.

Blessing and Rita looked at each other, their eye contact made them bust into laughter, Sofia looked at them and was confused,

“what’s funny? she asked, (both characters still laughing), “ok please.. can someone stop and tell me what's making you two laugh, (characters still laughing) this is getting weird, stop acting like, said Sofia. (Blessing quickly sipped out of her drink),

“ooo. ST. Sofia, free me your mind, when will you date again, or are you planning to leave the rest of your life, miserable? “I can't stop thinking of the way he squeezed into me, and grabbed me with so much force by the waist, it all, all just happened, I can't really tell or explain my actions when I began screaming out so loud!!! Oh God I was so into it, perhaps my neighbor thinking I wasn't ok, came knocking on my door, asking if I was alright. Blessing laugh so quietly.

Sofia and Rita both shouted; Mado!!.. (#local way of complimenting). Rita quickly made a comment; wahala for who no get new boy friend ooo.. (#local way of complimenting), Sofia and Blessing began to laugh.

The three friends relaxed their nerves sipping their drinks,

“hmmm Sofia, come to think of it, you were panicking when I called on the phone early today? What was the issue between you and your manager, Blessing asked.

“oh that.., (phone vibrates) and Sofia was interrupted by the ringing tone of her phone, which she kept on the table. Sofia took it and kept a quite look on the name.

Rita wondered including Blessing, Rita asked; whose calling, (# the devil's servant, appeared on the phone screen),

“speaking of the devil's manager, (Sofia demonstrated with her hand forming a side horn on her head) shiii, (she cleared her throat and picked the call), hello Mr. Chide, she said, switching the call to speaker and gently she placed it on the table.

“hey!!!! (He shouted) Sofia you evil little thing.. (Chide sounded like he was about to cry) oh God, I will get you and cut you into pieces, this has never happened to me before, until I tested your short cake you evil lady, ash my stomach it still hurts, (they all laughed with their hands covering their mouth).

“Sofia, Sofia (painful breathing) I hope you are listening to me, (painful breathing) don’t you dear put me on silence, because I will deal with ahh… Lord, I will deal with you..(Chide began to cry, and some funny toilet sound),I will deal with you, I will deal with… you, you evil lady (he screamed).

“why’s he crying?. Rita asked still on her funny moment, while Sofia remained calm almost puffing out of laughter not to speak,

“Mr. Chide calm down we will speak tomorrow, I, I can't really hear you right now, said Sofia.

“Hear? oh! you evil witch, you dear… Sofia quickly dropped the call on him, the three friends laughed out a loud, flowing out so loudly.

“ha, ha, ha oh my goodness, I wish he could hear himself, those funniest moment of his life will be a shame, said Blessing trying to say another word; ok, ok, wait a minute.. Sofia, what in a barbaric world, did you do to him?

Blessing exclaimed; what!! (Even Rita spat out the drink in her mouth) Sofia I can't believe you, you gave him a short cake, of all thing on earth, on your first day at work.

“aren't you afraid of what will be of you next, a sack on your table, girl friend… did you ever for one minute, stop to think of what that short cake has done to people in high school. don't you think? his going to make a formal totties speech about you tomorrow. Rita told her.

“we are here trying to rub off your sadness over your ex, while on the other hand you.. Sofia (Blessing shaked her head), if you get into trouble we won't be there to safe you. Said Blessing her words came out like a nanny warning’s to a child.

“In fact I'm going home, said Blessing getting up.

“wait a minute, Blessing are you angry?, Sofia asked

“well you see young lady, I am not, you know how to solve your problems, said Blessing lifting her hand bag in a hurry to leave.

“Rita aren't you coming?, Blessing asked still walking away.

“I’m right behind you baby girl, (Rita carries her purse), well girl friend.. your lady got to put her head in the road, and I’d be one to take her home, since she has refused to get herself one (she got up), take care and don’t forget to correct your mistake, said Rita on her way out, Sofia took a deep breath, “well bills on me”.

Late that same evening, every one part their way, Sofia got home late, meeting her room un tardy,

“What happened here? Sofia asked Margret, who was seated beside the Conner of her bed quietly.

She answered; it was our uncle’s hand work, he came here asking for a house documents.

“What!!! What document does he think he owns, he felt he had the authority to ransack my properties, and what in a barbaric world of his aged mind, he has, to think the land will ever belong to him, so he sneaked in here for documents, (Sofia angrily dropped her hand bag), what a fool.

“by the way were is father? I hope he hasn't gone drinking, She asked.

“if I was in his shoes right now, I would be laying on the ground, like right now, with all the pain’s he received in his room, for refusing to give them documents, said Margret.

Sofia quickly rushed down getting in, truly like Margret said she met her injured father in his room laying on the ground.

“Father!! oh my goodness, look at what they did to you, I can't believe he has come so far.. to be able to do this to you, oh my.. (Sofia bones weakened), a day will come, that I’ll personally make him pay for all this... Immediately her father held her hand, and spat out blood from his mouth, she quickly bent cleaning it off.

“shiii father just stay clam, let me get some drugs and a bow of hot water, (Sofia wisped to her self, he will surely pay for this, even if it takes a blood, it what’s it) . Old Mrs. Gift saw Sofia coming out of her father's room, (she scoffs) “what a witch, she's ready to blow up everything.
