NÌKOLAI’S POV
It’s been a couple of days since Elio stopped by and dropped a bomb on us. Valentina has been distant and I can see how sad she is. When somebody comes around, she smiles and acts like everything is fine, but I know it’s not.
She just has a good way of hiding it from everybody else, just not me.
I haven’t talked to her about it because I know she’s stressed out. We still haven’t found Damian and I have no idea where he is. I know for a fact Lorenzo had a hand in his disappearance. There’s no way Damian would just disappear and not contact anybody, especially his pregnant girlfriend.
I’m really close to just storming into Lorenzo’s estate and putting a gun to his head until he tells me where Damian is.
