38. Waking Up

I fluttered my eyes open to bright fluorescent lights. My body felt horrible as I tried to move around, but it was much harder than I thought. I tried to catch my bearings as my eyes adjusted to the light, but it was just too bright. My memories started pouring in, making me remember the last moments that have me feeling like this. Fucking Luther! A heart monitor was beeping, and the smell of sterile chemicals flooded my senses as my eyes stayed closed. I was in the hospital. Well at least I made it. I just remember crashing out as I stumbled my way to the emergency doors. I honestly thought I had died, there was no way I was gonna make it with those kinds of injuries. I guess I was wrong.
