19 A kaleidoscope of colors and lights twirled around Leah as she felt her body spinning, holding tightly to the pole of the horse she was riding. She gazed at the stationary images passing outside of the merry-go-round to see flashes of her life, her grandfather, her grandmother, her mother and Vinnie, Asa and Liam, Garrett and, of course, Ben. She tried to concentrate on them, to focus in on one of them as the circling started going faster and faster, spinning frantically out of control.
