Dylan's POV “Alpha, I don't really know much about him. All I collected is some quick cash.” The guard blurted and I clenched my fists. “You still don't know how deep of a problem you just got into, huh?” I sneered at the guard and he cowered back in fear. “No, no… Alpha.” He objected, his eye lifting at the corners. “He's quite powerful and hold some influence among the prisoner.” He paused then quickly added. “I thought to get some quick cash,” he sobbed. “I never knew it'd land me into this trouble.” I stood in front to the guard for a while, and I understand one thing—he wasn't lying. At least, I could tell that much from his heartbeat. I didn't catch or smell any foul play. Although, some set of wolves have trained themselves to maintain a steady heartbeat even if they are lying
