At the mention of rejection, my eyes shot open and I stared at him wide-eyed. Was that why he decided to use all his resources in finding me?
I gulped.
His grey eyes were fixated on my face, he was clearly waiting for my response.
I turned my face away from him and I felt his breath fan on my cheeks.
“What is this?” He reached for my hairs, swinging it over my shoulders. “Who did this to you?” He demanded, his fist clenched by his side.
