Ava's POV I stood before Dylan, my anger and frustration boiling over. "What happened to having my own freedom? You're always so quick to assume the worst about me, aren't you?" I yelled, my voice echoing through the room. "You think you'd make me some kind of prisoner here, don't you?" Dylan's expression remained calm, his eyes never leaving mine. He didn't flinch, didn't react. It was as if he had expected me to lash out at him. The guards, however, looked taken aback by my outburst. One of them stepped forward, his hand on the hilt of his sword. "Don't speak to Alpha like that," he said, his voice firm but cautious. I turned on him, my anger still simmering. "And you need to apologize for the way you treated me," I spat, my eyes blazing. "You had no right to manhandle me like that.
