Lile woke to an assault of sunlight on the lids of her eyes. She opened them, squinted, groaned, stretched. The ordinary. Maeve was already up, probably cooking breakfast or gardening with Gren.  No, Lile thought as the memories flooded in and she realised where she was and why she was here. She was in the cabin, her new home, but it was not an ordinary day. Perhaps Maeve was making breakfast, but it would not only be for her and Lile.
