A MASQUERADE PARTY
The Saturday of the masquerade party arrived all too quickly for Bella’s liking. She pulled out her fitted satin dress, stiletto shoes, and intricate Venetian mask which featured black and gold patterns surrounding the spaces for the eyes. She had been able to purchase the accessories online at the last minute.
Bella wondered if she’d know anyone else at the party. Liz would most likely be busy socialising with other social workers who’d been invited. Bella couldn’t expect Liz to keep her company the whole time.
