ZACK SEARCHED MELISSA’S face for some clue to how she had found Emily when she returned to his room.
“You’ll be pleased to hear that Emily seems as though she’s going to be alright,” Melissa said. “It’s probably going to be a while before she’s fully recovered, but she was making sense, which is a good sign.”
“That’s good to hear. After all the tragedies, it’s good to know something positive has happened.”
Melissa nodded. “Definitely. I’m sure Tara will be relieved to hear that her sister is going to be alright, I’ll bring her in later. I don’t fancy being the one to tell Emily what’s happened, but I suppose I’d better at some point, before Tara blurts it out by accident.”
