After leaving the stables, Melissa decided to pick up Johnson before going to speak to Sam Glover about the vandalism. Given the damage that had been done to the studios’ vehicles, and to Harry Benson’s car, she thought it best to have support, just in case the teen was the vandal, and she wasn’t prepared to simply give herself up. First, though, she had a detour to make.
“Hi, gran,” she said when the door opened. “How’s things?”
“Everything is okay here,” Constance told her granddaughter. “How are you? You went out very early this morning, is everything alright?” Stepping back, she made room for Melissa to enter and then closed the door behind her.
