Kieran found the police station in darkness when he got there. There was no sign that anyone had been there in the last few hours, or that anyone, especially the object of his interest, was due there any time soon. That left him wondering what to do, whether he should stay there, go back to Melissa’s house and wait for her there, or go looking for one of his other targets.
He thought about it for a few moments and decided to give it a bit of time there.
