Chapter TwentyVulk was probably two hundred years old when I first met him. Much like what was occurring around Stamford House, people had begun disappearing from the countryside surrounding Corrour Lodge, a hunting estate located at Scotland’s Rannoch Moor. Legend had it that a monstrous hound, one the locals called Cù Sìth, stalked the land hunting anything and anyone stupid enough to wander through the nightmarish landscape of the moors at night alone. The legend of the black hound, now tied with the mystery of the missing people from Corrour, had caught my imagination and I decided to find out for myself what was going on.
