I look up from my phone glaring daggers at her but in the end sighing in defeat relenting to her curiosity.

Fine!! ?‍? I really did sleep in but I also had some kind of anxiety attack and Trent mysteriously popped up to help me which lead to him kissing me and now we have a date.

There was literally no way to cover Sam’s reaction. The whole school could probably hear her deafening squealing. I cover my ears as Mr. Smoke spins around from facing the board fuming as he calls Sam out “SAMANTHA LORAN JENKINS WHAT’S THE MEANING OF YOUR OBNOXIOUS OUTBURST?!” I do my best to act innocent as Sam blushes profusely, stuttering in the process leaving me completely dumbfounded and gaping at her “s….sorry Mr.Smoke I..it won’t h…happen again sir.” His intense glare softens “Detention after school today.” I didn’t even have to glance around the room to know everyone in the class was now gaping. The bell rings and I rush to the restroom splashing water on my face to hear the bathroom door open then close.

I pay whoever enters no mind as I continue with my business until my head is slammed into the sink that is. I crumble onto the floor bleeding from my nose and forehead. I quickly turn on my butt and slide myself away. My back touches a cool wall and I attempt to whip some blood from my eyes and am left speechless to see none other than the queen bee of the school Savanna F. Charles. I am frozen in shock as she states her intentions “You better stay away from Trent you worthless b***h and get it through your thick skull he’s mine.” The second she finished something within me snapped and I spring up from the floor and am holding her up by the neck with my right hand. Her feet dangle in the air futally clawing at my right hand to be able to breathe properly.

My voice sounds lower with a menacing growl “If you ever dare to take what’s mine I won’t hesitate to kill you bitch.” Without warning the bathroom door flies open as Sam barrels in stopping dead in her tracks as she soaks in the scene before her. Sam raises her hands defensively in front of herself speaking directly to me calmly as she could muster “Hey Ray whatcha doin girl?” My head snaps to her growling ferociously. Sam slightly lowers her head cautiously, inching closer “Ray it’s me Sam, ok?” The only thing I could process for some reason was to protect what’s mine. My grip tightens causing Savanna’s face to start turning blue.

I could see Sam looking between me and Savanna mumbling under her breath “You so owe me if we survive this dumbass.” Sam rushes towards me with inhuman speed swiping at my feet. I release my grasp oh Savanna as I fall landing on my back with furry coursing through my veins as I brace my hands by my head and flip myself back onto my feet taking a predatory stance. Sam gently pats Savanna’s crumbled body on the ground gasping for air “Go..go..go now.” Savanna scrambles to her feet emitting a strong Odor of fear “She’s one of us and a f*****g Alpha female at that?!” Sam shakes her head “Definitely not the time for this Savanna.” Trent barges into the lady’s bathroom next frantically searching until his eyes land on me as I lunge towards Sam and Savanna.

Before I had the chance to harm them Trent lunges past Sam and Savanna connecting with me. As we land on the ground Trent quickly takes the opportunity to straddle me, pinning me to the ground. Trent stares me down while I squirm beneath him growling at him. A single tear lands on my cheek causing me to freeze in my place staring back up to Trent in silence. Trent leans down resting his forehead to mine whispering “I will find who did this to you my Luna and punish them myself just come back to me love.” I close my eyes as he leans further down, kissing me tenderly. All of my rage vanishes being replaced by this new warm feeling in my heart.

Savanna stutters whispering gently “L..Luna?” Sam quickly quiets her down “Sshhh now come on before something else occurs.” I felt like I was soaring on cloud nine finally feeling like myself once again. Once I opened my eyes I stared blankly at Trent slightly c*****g my head to the side “Um Trent……what’s going on?” Trent blushes and moves quickly to his feet scratching the back of his head avoiding eye contact with me “Um well you sorta passed blacked out and I came in since I heard a commotion which is when I found you on the floor and well you get the picture, right?” I nod my head questioningly “uh huh.” Trent clears his throat nervously “well I’m off to class.”

Before Trent makes it to the door I grab his arm and pull him to me standing on my tippy toes resting my arms around his neck kissing him passionately. Trent stumbles backwards as he heads to the door while staring at me earning a giggle from me. The rest of the day my mind is stuck ok our kiss that I zone out in class. I walk dreamily to my bike tracing my lips with my fingers smiling uncontrollably when my happy bubble is popped by Savanna approaching me. I mumble a sarcastic comment “well I’ll be it’s a damn record going a whole day without Queen Bee bursting my bubble someone must be getting rusty.” Savanna slightly lowers her head as she stops in front of me while I put my helmet on then straddle my bike. I glance at her wondering what’s her deal this time “And I’m blessed by the Queen’s presence why?”

I pause noticing her fidgeting with her fingers nervously so I sit back on my seat “Dude seriously spill it.” Savanna sighs before proceeding “I just wanted to apologize for all the cruel things I’ve done to you since we were kids.” My filter broke as my mouth spilled my thoughts “Wait do what….you seriously waited until high school no better yet our senior year to apologize for all the hellaciou bull s**t you’ve pulled on me?!” I shake my head brushing off her apology preparing to crank my bike when she jumps in front of my bike bracing the handles “Please Raymona I really am sorry, ok?” Puzzled why now seems to be such a big deal for my acceptance I simi cave “Will you let me leave if I forgive you?” Savanna nods her head yes vigorously. I sigh only caring about meeting up with Lizzy to gather last minute supplies for my upcoming Birthday “Fine I forgive you there it’s water under the bridge now if you will I’ve things to do.”

Savanna moves away from my bike babbling “Oh thank you thank you thank you I swear you won’t regret it.” After cranking my bike I shift gears then rev it up to cover my mumbled comment “Too late.” I leave the school’s parking lot ready to get home and finally let off some steam but before that I have something else to deal with. It takes me a matter of minutes to arrive at the mall’s parking lot. I park then turn my bike off and pull my phone out of my pocket to text Lizzy.

I take my helmet off leaning forward patiently waiting for Lizzy to finally arrive only to get irritated thirty minutes later.

I jump as I’m frightened from someone touching my back quickly yelling “BOO!” I bend over bracing myself by my knees struggling to calm my racing heart “For f***s sake Lizzy!” I turn to see Lizzy holding her stomach bent over crying from laughing so hard. I glare at her lunging as I tell her “Oh it’s on like Donkey Kong.” I chase her to the entrance of the mall where I end up catching her and tickling her until she pleads for mercy. We shop for supplies until it’s dawn then decide to check out possible things to wear for my Birthday Party. Three mini stores later we are racking the racks in JC Penny’s where we found several options.
