Party Animal Part 2

Oh no girl I definitely won’t deny that sexy looking guys look. Before I knew what I was doing my head snaps up in a heated glare my hands slam onto the table shooting out of my seat sending it falling down sliding across the floor releasing an animalistic growl as I spoke “What the f**k did you just say?” Sam’s eyes wide as she cautiously gets out of her seat raising her hands in a non threatening gesture “Ray I didn’t mean it in any way.... look I didn’t know so please calm down.” I couldn’t stop the burning rage building within me and the worst part was it felt like I wasn’t in control of my own body or actions and I was scared out of my mind acting irrationally towards my best friend. The door bursts open as I lunge at Sam screaming to myself “NO!” My fingers graze Sam’s skin then without any warning strong muscle arms wrap around me jerking me away. In a raged fit my body reacts flailing my arms and legs around to free myself from my captive.

I release another animalistic growl as I elbow my captive in the ribs only for the grip around me to slightly loosen. The person grunts from the impact. I break free from his hold jumping up to my feet backing away from him and Sam. I glance at Sam to see her crying covering her mouth quieting her sobs. Something within me snaps as though I’m all of a sudden I’m the driver's seat inside of the passengers looking in. Fear overwhelms me as I step further away looking between the two “I.....I’m so s.......sorry Sam I d.......d......don’t know w.....what came o..of me.” I felt tears sliding down my face jumping from bumping my back against the wall beside the doorway and with one last glance at the man who caused me to act so irrational I bolted from the cabin racing further into the forest crying harder as the memory of their eyes burned themselves into my brain.

I could see the fear swirling alongside the worry in her eyes. He showed multiple emotions battling for dominance. I was completely struck with pure horror as the memory of what had just happened replayed over and over again in my head. Tears falling from my face landing astray as I zip through the thick wooded forest with a sole goal to flee. I can faintly hear my name being called out and with a renewed wave of determination I burst into a clearing blinded by the sun unaware of the pending danger lurking just in front of me. I was too late to react once my eyes readjusted to the light. I take in a sharp gasp the millisecond I see half of my right foot off the cliff.

My heart drops as my throat constricts, unable to stop my momentum in time let alone scream. I can feel the rock beneath my right foot begin to crumble under my weight. My eyes are frozen wide on the waterfront before me and the large rocks protruding from the ocean waves slam against the rocks. “Oh God is this really the end for me?” “There goes my bucket list..” I slightly turn my head away tightly, shutting my eyes as I make a final attempt to stop. My right foot falls as the rock beneath it finally gives way and my left foot slides in an attempt to shift my weight while trying to brace myself.

This only causes me to land on my left knee falling forward. Without warning I release an ear piercing scream from the shock of being jerked backwards all of a sudden. I land on top of my savior with a thud. The person under me grunts from the impact. My eyes widened once again realizing the sparks shooting from this man’s muscular arms that are wrapped around my belly. I freak out pulling at his arms and hands so I could get away but to no avail “LET ME GO!.” He only tightens his hold barring his face in the crock of my neck.

I gasp at the gentle graze of his lips across the crock of my neck then he takes a deep breath in as though he’s smelling me. His deep voice sounds like heavenly music to my ears “Stop fighting.” I freeze breathing heavily “See now was that so difficult Angel?” I snapped at his newfound nickname for me “Don’t ever call me that and I don’t even know you now release me or I’ll make you.” His chest rumbles as he laughs with amusement dripping from his deep voice as he speaks “And what makes you think you can harm me, Angel?” My blood boils the moment he emphasized Angel and the fact that he portrayed me as weak just fueled my rage further. I fisted my hands taking immediate action with as much strength as I could muster. I elbowed his ribs.

With a crunch He bellows in pain releasing his hold on me slightly leaning towards his injured rib. I toss my head back for extra measure, colliding with his face with a smack. I quickly removed the rest of his arms, rolling off him, bouncing to my feet, smirking “What was that about me not capable of harming you?” All color from my face drains the instant an animalistic growl booms Shaking the earth beneath me. I hesitantly back away from him to be pulled behind someone. She stands protectively in front of me growling. Within a slit section he’s on his feet stalking towards us growling “Mine.”

My breath hitches torn between fear and oddly as it may be slightly turned on. I peek over her shoulder to see him flare his nostrils locking eyes with me. I noticed his eyes changing its color. My arousal spikes sparking into small flames. I step around my protector, noticing in the process it was Sam. I was struck with a million questions racing through my head but could only focus on the unnatural pull I had with this stranger. I placed a hand on her shoulder before she could pull me back “It’s ok Sam.” I walked past her stopping in front of him “my name is Raymona.”

His eyes shined its natural shade and man his voice sent a tidal wave of need through me hearing him say my name “Raymona.....my name is Trent.” I smile glad to finally know his name “Trent...” for some odd reason I felt lightheaded and without warning I passed out. The last thing I remember before fading was two strong arms catching me before I landed on the ground. I could faintly understand who was saying what “Look Sam she can’t remember this it’ll only place her in the forefront of danger and we both know that’s something neither of us can do.” “Trent she deserves to know it’s bad enough I’ve had to lie to her about what I really am but it’s unfair for her to be kept in the dark. She is not ignorant and she obviously won’t settle for any lies. It's honestly a miracle how she hasn’t discovered me yet.” “SAM! I can’t afford placing her in danger she’s too f*****g fragile.”

Sam snickered “Obviously not as fragile as you thought because she broke a rib and your nose.” An unknown man pipes in “May I speak Alpha?” ...........Alpha what the f**k? “Yes Charles.” “I can alter said encounter from her memories but erasing them completely is too risky sir.” I could hear someone pacing back and forth. Ok Charles you have my permission just please don’t harm her ole friend.

Yes my Alpha..I give you my word that I’ll be careful but I can’t guarantee that this won’t cause any pain or discomfort. ALPHA please don’t do this to her! Trent’s voice booms with authority “SAM! I have made my decision now. You can either be by her side to comfort her or stand outside. It's your choice until you push me to my limits.” Sam sighs in defeat “Yes Alpha.” I groan, stirring as jolts of pain shoot through my body resonating from my bones, wines escaping from my slightly parted lips, wincing from the growing pain. A ear piercing scream escapes from me as my eyes shoot open. I clutch at my stomach doubling over. Everyone rushes in shocked to see me awake let alone in agony.

Trent barks orders “Sam brace her legs I’ll brace her arms and Charles do your thing.” They take their positions restraining me down to the bed. Another scream bellows from me tilting my head back with tears falling from my face. CHARLES HURRY SOMETHING IS WRONG! Charles places a hand on my forehead then one to my stomach focusing all his energy on me. I scream as the sudden feelings of being torn to shreds hits me leaving me begging “IT HURTS PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!” Trent and Sam yell at Charles in unison “HELP HER!”

Charles eyes shoot open as he gasps for air speaking quickly “She’s a supernatural being and there’s a seal that’s meant to suppress the genes but it’s damaged I have to fix it before her body shuts down from shock.” Charles closes his eyes once more, sending an enormous amount of refocused energy in me. I scream even louder than I have in my whole life as the feelings along with the deafening sounds of bones breaking and joints popping hit my ears. Black dots clouded my vision and Everyone’s voices became dull. The next thing I know I’m passing out once again hearing the dull voices around me lulling me deeper to sleep. Every so often I could hear some sort of sound being made but couldn’t pinpoint what caused it and after a while I finally gave up trying to. I immediately spring up sitting in the bed I was laying in with some serious aches and a clouded memory.

I groan holding my head with my hands startled by a movement not too far from me. I blink my eyes rapidly, struggling to gain focus of my sight. After a minute my eyes finally adjusted, landing on the stranger from school then Sam rushing in. “Oh thank heavens your alright Ray you scared the living s**t out of u...I mean me.” She pounced on my wrapping her arms around me squeezing me in a tight hug. I frantically pat her arms gasping for air “Sam....air.......can’t breathe.” She immediately releases me “Oh sorry Ray.” “It’s ok Sam.....but what happened?Why am I in bed and Why is he here?”

I fired off my first round of questions then regretted asking one seeing hurt flash across his face but he quickly shielded his emotions before I could read into it any further. My gaze is broken as Sam catches my undivided attention “Well you stormed out of school when he showed up saying you didn’t feel good so after he was introduced I swapped numbers with him then ran after you worried about you and for some reason you came here after a minute you finally told me where you were so I immediately came here........We hung out joking for a bit then raced in the forest but before we made it back some large animal came out of nowhere spooking us then after a while you passed out i guess you weren’t completely over whatever had you feeling off but I called Trent in a panic terrified something was wrong well and here we are.” I glared at her not fully believing her story and was about to open my mouth to protest but of all things I got cut off by Trent “So are we going to this party or not since you seem to be better now?” My mouth falls agape dumbfounded. He even knows about the party when he’s a new kid. I grab Sam’s elbow and whisper at her ““What the hell?” “Did you seriously tell him about the party?”” She gave a sheepish smile “Maybe..I mean he is a cute guy after all so I figured you’d like a shot at getting to know him.”

I narrowed my eyes “The f**k Sam you know my parents would kill me if they ever discovered me talking to some guy.” Sam sighs running her hand through her messy hair “Look Ray I promise I’ll keep this on the dl with your fam if you're willing to just give him a chance.” She lowered her hand giving me puppy dog eyes batting her eyelashes doing a sweet innocent voice “Pretty please with a hunk on top?” I burst into a fit of laughter clutching my chest bending over crying from laughing so hard gasping between breaths finally answering between each breath “Fine.......you.........win.........just...........please..........not............the...............puppy..........dog..........plea.” Sam jumps with excitement “YES!” I glance over to see Trent smiling at me. Sam takes a stern look “But seriously Ray are you sure your alright I mean how can you not remember what happened?”
