Everything was in order including the trained crew for the enclosed biosphere filled with plants and trees. Most of the plants would supply food, but some would supply needed medicinal properties. It was a miniature eco system of Tonath meant to provide fresh oxygen and food for the travelers.
“Well, that concludes, the tour, Director Stauss. We all will miss your guidance. I feel it is shortsighted that you aren't going with us. What if something goes wrong?” Baily Goodwin felt he had said what the entire crew felt.
Marika smiled at him. “Thank you, Lieutenant Goodwin, but I'm too old. This trip could take more than a decade. It must be the younger generation that goes.”
