Chapter 15: Marika In AnothMarika was accustomed to Mister Holfen frowning at her. He did not like the two women in his class. He would have preferred all males. Milah Sandren he tolerated as she was smaller in size, never asked questions, wore glasses, and had a rather bulbous nose.
“Mistress Strauss, we need to speak after I dismiss the class. The rest of you may pick up your semester grades in the Administrators Office. Dismissed.”
Marika rose as the rest of the students did, the anger rising inside of her. What did he mean? She knew she had outperformed everyone in the class. She picked up her books, and looked at Mister Holfen as soon as the last student was out of the door.
