"Listen buddy, let us redo this once and for all, i have taken my time and made the entire plan, just a minute" Alex struggles to climb on top of the bed and takes his book opens it and shows it to Curtis.

"Well, this is the entire thing" he shows Curtis his plans and to make it even more challenging they were to leave at night and that means that Peter will already be back and whatever they had to do they were to be much careful. Curtis agrees with the entire plan and he is in again for a second try. Alex felt so ready and was more than willing to do this. He feels his plan is a huge masterpiece and feels so proud of himself even though the plan was not that detailed and it only included drawings of the building and the way they were to pass and get out of the compound and nothing much, the rest of the details he added just for it to look more precise and a bit complicated. He was like a mind reader and he knew this was exactly what Curtis needed. He was very much capable of leaving the orphanage by himself but since he broke it out to Curtis he had no other option but to come and try to convince him because he might be of much greater help to him. They open the door and lock it slowly, leave the room slowly like two Cid's who were up on a very serious mission. They walk together and do not leave each other's sight at all. Alex does not trust him and now he has to keep an eye on him the entire time before the right time comes since their plan was to start at midnight.

Time passes by and they have their dinner sitting next to each other.

"Hey" Curtis whispers on Alex's ears as they eat, Adolf and Kyle are on the other end and they maintain eye contact with them.

"This does feel like the past supper right" he says this to Alex and laughs to himself as he drinks his soup.

"Just keep it low and everything will go on according to the plan, those two, might blow our plan, better keep an eye on them till they get to bed" Alex is so worried about them and they really needed to keep them shut their mouths till they get out.

"What were you thinking though, you really thought those jerks could have taken you anywhere, you would have been caught before you even think of leaving, i am the only one capable enough to free us Curtis" Alex goes on whispering and bragging about it. Curtis agrees with him and even starts seeing him as the smartest friend he ever knew. Everybody finishes eating and they remain in the table talking till late night, people get tired one by one and their are only four of them left, each group sitting in pairs Adolf and kyle on the other end and Alex and Curtis looking at each other, the room buried in deep silence.

"What do you think those two psychopaths are up to?" Kyle asks Adolf his mean eyes still fixed on them. "They are probably thinking of stealing something, i can tell it from the look of their eyes you know!" Adolf answers him.

"Whatever it is we will have to figure it out" Adolf goes on talking but Alex and Curtis stand up and leave the room. They remain sitted still thinking of the next move to make. Alex and Curtis head to their beds and sleep. The night goes on and the two come and sneak in their room as Adolf waits outside.

"They are asleep already" kyle returns and tells Adolf.

"That is so strange, lets go we will be back before they think of waking up" they give up on their wait and go to sleep not know that the two were not yet asleep at all. They were still up waiting for the right moment and it was only two hours away. The entire compound was silent and Peter was up as usual and he never had a hard time guarding the place because he knew no one would possibly raid the place and attack the innocent children and so he was dozing of on his chair. It was now very dark and everyone else was asleep. Back in the children's rooms Alex opens his eyes and realises it was the perfect time. Maintaining high level of silence he steps out of his bed carefully and puts on his shoes, looking at the rest he realises they have fallen into deep sleep. He goes to the door and opens it slowly and gets out looking at every corner, he walks outside of the building behind the back door and goes to the store where the escape ladder was kept, he slowly struggles with it and places it firm on the perimeter wall at the point they were to escape from. He goes back to the rooms still maintaining silence to prevent making any noise as hard as possible, he notices someone coming and backs up and hides behind the door looking through the small space between the door and the wall. He sees Sarah walking facing up his eyes wide open, Alex had never been so much scared before and it was one of his first time seeing somebody sleep walking. This was one of the deep secrets that Peter kept to himself since he was the only one who knew about this. Sarah passes and goes out and Alex gets the chance to walk away from the door.

"Hey hey!!, Get up, we need to ho" he goes and wakes up Curtis who was now lost in a deep sleep. He wakes up so confused.

"What is it" he realises its Alex and suddenly remembers the plan and gets out of the bed. They now need to walk out of the compound without being detected.
