Change of Plans

"So that's it? Is that the whole plan you've got?" Curtis was getting so uneasy and could not calm down and their argument was so loud that it could attract someone around. Alex tries to calm him down with all means possible but he was just overreacting.

"I am out of here Alex, your plan is never going to work and you are never getting out of here if you don't come up with another plan" he gives up and starts walking back to the building and Alex stands their unmoved he breathes out heavily and he is so upset. He watches Curtis dissapearing on the corner and he is left alone again making him so tensed again and he really thinks he needs someone yo watch his back and atleast things might be easier, he sits down on a stone next to where he was standing thinking of what to do. Looking at the gate he sees it unguarded and on the other side he thinks about it, the life inside, the small circle he had he really wanted to make it bigger he really wanted to go out and see how everything works and atleast be free, it was so long since they ever got an opportunity to go outside and that was the day they had a trip that was sponsered by well wishers. Getting out of the orphanage for a child like him could be very hard since he had to wait till he grew up or the moment someone could adopt him and now he thinks he can no longer wait to be taken by someone else but to go out and look for freedom all by himself.

It was becoming so hard to decide and even thinks of going back and follow Curtis. Curtis is with the others and he is not talking much, they make up stories but he is not listening at all since he is really wondering if Alex could be gone by now. His eyes is fixed at the door just waiting to see if he would also come back and give up on his plan. After waiting for around thirty minutes he does not see him coming back and he decides to go and see for himself. He goes behind the building to where he had left him and he is so surprised when he does not get him at all. He tries walking and looking around the compound for him but he is no where to be seen at all. He regrets bailing on him and now he knows that he is outside so free and exploring around but what he did not know is that once he gets outside he needed a way to survive and it was not easy at all. He goes back to the room and sits with the rest and sees like he is the only one who knows the secret and he finds it so hard to keep it. Curtis has a lot of friends he can share with the secret but he chooses to be quiet. A lot of things go through his mind and thinks of an idea of escaping too but to accomplish it he really thinks he needed a team of atleast one or two people. He walks around looking for his best friends and is able to find two boys, Adolf and Kyle who were the naughtiest and were ready to hear about anything. He pulls them out of the rest and they head into one of their sleeping rooms and lock the door from inside.

"What is it Curtis" Adolf gets too curious of what he is about to tell them and wants to hear about it so bad. Curtis opens the door again just to be clear that no one was following them at all and you would think that they were in a very serious mission.

"Okay boys i have this idea that i know you would like to hear about it" he begins explaining as they sit on the bed and he remains standing. They barely realised that someone was on the upper bed and kept on talking about it.

"I have come up with the greatest idea you would ever wish for and what i want from you is nothing but loyalty since you are the chosen one among everybody else" he talks and goes on bragging about it and wants them to swear and keep it a secret

"Can you just tell us the reason for for dragging usbl here and give us a break!" Kyle was getting enough of it and could no longer wait for all the long stories Curtis had.

"Are you in or not?" Curtis was becoming so harsh and wanted them to keep quiet and listen to him without having a lot of questions. Kyle apologizes and lets him go on. He starts talking but hears someone walking from outside and he pauses for a few seconds till the footsteps dissapear.

"Okay guys, this is it..." He is about to tell them but he is silenced by Alex who was on the upper bed. They all jump in surprise and they almost broke into screams.

"Shhhhhhhh.. keep it down guys, its just me" he says as he gets down the bed.

"Man i thought you were gone, what the hell are you still doing here man" Curtis was the one surprised more than everyone in the room.

"Gone where!!" Kyle is not getting it at all and wants to know more.

"Gone to the kitchen, i was feeling so hungry and wanted to get some food from the kitchen but no one was around so i decided to come and sleep, is that right Curtis?"

"Yes, it is" Curtis answers to support him and they act to have believed it. Alex pulls Curtis by sis hand and whispers something to him for long and Curtis comes back and tells them it was nothing at all.

"I am out here, this is such a bullshit" kyle leaves and bangs the door behind him and Adolf follows him.
