The Split

"Where are you headed?" Tyler asks the driver while panting so heavily.

"Am heading to the market, can you shut up I need to concentrate" he shouts back at Tyler.

Everybody remains silent as they drive.

"What about Martin guys, i don’t think he is safe at all" Amanda suddenly says to them.

"Enough of you two" the driver gets annoyed and suddenly stops the truck and opens the door for them.

"Please don’t do this to us, we wont say a word again, just take us to the market “Amanda begs him because she knew how risky it was, Aiden might be on their neck at this second.

He starts the truck once again without saying a word, they all remain silent until they arrive at the market. Amanda gets out as fast as she could and Tyler jumps out following her. They all head to only one place that they hope they might find martin, they run to Christine's house.

Christine and Laura were now sitting around the fire at the back of the house when they hear the door knocking.

"Who the hell is that! who knocks at someone’s door at this time" she complains as she slowly gets up and goes to the door.

"Christine, it's Amanda here, please let us in" Amanda cries to her, Christine now rushes to the door after hearing this and immediately opens the door. Laura is watching from a distance, trying to hear what is happening at the door but the unexpected happens, she immediately vomits uncontrollably.

"Oh deer" she says while covering her mouth, she quickly gets up and clears the mess, she was just finishing clearing the mess when Christine walks in with Amanda and Tyler follows from behind.

"Laura, this is Martin's wife Amanda, Amanda this is Laura, a lady Martin saved and brought her to me this morning" she introduces each and everyone of them but Tyler feels left out.

"My name is Tyler..!" He tries introducing himself but no one even cared, they go on with what had brought them.

"We have been attacked by a werewolf Christine, i think Martin might be in trouble" Amanda says and Laura freezes on hearing this, the only thing she was trying to run away from was now out there she felt so insecure when she hears this from Amanda, why werewolves whenever she went, it now seemed like they were part of her life.

"Oooh my god, this are the times" Christine says as she looks so shocked.

"Is anything bad going to happen?" Laura cuts the silence by asking.

"A lot may happen Laura, a lot might be already happening, we need to be careful now, they might be tracking us now but first we have to make sure Martin is safe" Christine says as she gets up and walks to her room.

"What's your story?" Amanda asks Laura, she realizes she was so miserable.

"They took me and my mum months a go, the werewolves, they tortured us every day, their alpha enslaved me and abused me and worst of all they took my mum from me" she says and she wasn't crying at all let alone shading any tears.

"Am so sorry they did all that you, you know Martin is also a werewolf and Christine.." Amanda says to Laura but she is cut shot when they look behind them and see a huge wolf standing behind them. Laura bursts out screaming but they shut her up.

"As i was saying before, Christine is also a wolf, a good one ,there are bad wolves and there are also good ones too, christine is one of the good ones, Martin too, and the bad evil wolves will always try to harm them, so we to stay together" she says to Laura but Laura still can't believe her eyes, she thought she might even be dreaming because everyone around her was either a wolf or unpredictable at all.

"You can't be serious at all, sticking together will just make it worse, they are after me too, remember i managed to escape from their territories and i am not taking any chances again, am sorry guys" Laura says and takes her veil, she heads to the door but Christine tries to stop her.

"Let her go Christine" Amanda says and christine moves aside. Laura opens the door and walks away, leaving the three off them speechless.

"Okay now that we lost her, we have to move fast to find Martin" Christine says to them.

"I will look for him, the two of you find somewhere safe and hide, i will find him and bring him to you so that all of us can be safe, is thag clear" Christine says to them.

"Take my boy with you, we have to abandon this place now" she adds and the door clicks open, laaura walks in, her head bowed down.

"Please forgive, i was being stupid" she apologizes to them.

"I knew you would still come back" Amanda says while smiling at her.

"Okay, lets not waste time, take this map, find this place, you will be safe there, it's a hidden world that can keep you safe as long as you want" Christine gives them a map and leads them out. She wishes them luck and goes a different way, sbe shifts to her werewolf form, with blue angry eyes, she looks up at the mountains and knows that's where she was supposed to go, even though she stood no chance at all to face Aiden and his wolfs, she runs to save Martin since she was all he got, still tied in chains having no hope if he could ever see his pregnant wife again, Martin lies down helplessly at the custody of his fellow wolfs.

Tyler, Amanda, Laura and Christines son quickly walk out of the market, following the map, they look for this place that seemed to be a myth to them but they had to find it at all cost, they headed to the land of Titronians.
