Undefeated Love

"I know how you feel Esther, but don't put all the blame on yourself, this is just some few challenges of life, everything will eventually be fine" Esther's mom says to her as she tries to advise her that it wasn't bad after all.

"I know there is something you are not telling me at all but you should know that the choice is yours Esther, whether to tell me or not it's your decision but please, don't live with it, every secret comes with a price" she says to her in a low tone.

"I want to go home mum, I think I am fine" Esther says to her as she struggles to get up from the bed.

"Wait, let me call the doctor" Esther's mum runs outside the ward to go and get the doctor, Esther lies there on her bed thinking about what her mum had just told her, she never was going to make it with the dark secret of her love to Benjamin, it was just impossible for her not to say yes during the wedding and she could totally not explain it, something might have pulled her away, she pretends not to have any memories of how it happened but all this was happening at her knowledge, she had a very clear picture of what happened but she had to make everyone believe that she had passed out. She thinks about every second of what happened when the door slowly opens and a person gets in, she turns to look and sees Benjamin standing next to her bed.

"Hello Esther, it's been so long" he says to her and her heart starts pounding so fast that the medical machine beeping starts to be so fast that Benjamin gets so worried at a point, he calms her down and begs her not to struggle and she finally settles.

"I just came here to know how you are doing and to provide any support if you need" he says to her.

"You should not be here Benjamin, just as you were not supposed to be in my wedding remember you were not invited at all, and that was a crime, I can choose to place charges on you so I beg of you to leave right now" Esther really meant it from this words.

"Are you serious right now? I am not your enemy Esther I do not mean any harm to you, I never intended any harm to you, everything that happened was so unexplainable" Benjamin tries to beg her to come to think of it but she was just getting out of hand, she was not ready to listen to him.

"I am going to say this to you for the last time Benjamin, please leave, I don't want to see you again, I am now married and living a happy life with my husband so leave me alone and act like we never knew each other" she tells him.

"Is that so, I can see it in your eyes Esther, I am too smart to fall for that, you are not living a happy life and you know that, its because your happiness could be somewhere else, come o think of it, see you around" he says and quickly leaves the ward. Esther was now at her hardest times, she now could not tell the meaning of love and at this moment, she strongly regrets why she ever quit the orphanage for the sake of love, could it be God punishing her for what she had done, everything has never been okay from the day she left the orphanage and took out that nun uniform, she realized she had done a great mistake and now her thoughts were such a mess, she was almost going crazy but she chooses to fight it to the end. The news about her pregnancy had not yet been clear to her but she could feel it too, she had to prepare herself for the worst, carrying a baby in the most difficult time of her life was one challenge that she was never going to forget every single time she will be seeing her child. The door opens and her mother gets in followed by the doctor.

"Did I just meet a guy, she seems so familiar" her mom says.

"Hello Esther, feeling any better?" the doctor intervenes and Esther does not have to answer what her mum had just asked.

"Yeah, I am very okay doctor, I think I am fit enough to leave" she quickly answers the doctor.

"Okay I will just perform some quick tests on you before we discharge you" he says to him as he checks her pulse.

"Mom, where is Brian?" Esther asks as the doctor goes on with the tests.

"I have no idea, he might be waiting outside, he is really having a hard time dealing with all this" her mum says.

"Okay Esther, you are really doing good, under the care of your mother I think you will be more than safe" the doctor says as Esther tries to get up. She was now getting ready to go home and whatever was happening outside was now a different story.

Brian had spotted Benjamin again and he finds this as a good opportunity to get to know the truth about everything. He knew he was such a powerful man but he had no choice but approach him, he approaches him humbly and greats him.

"Hey, I know you right? The wedding guy" Benjamin says as his bodyguards surround him.

"Give me a minute martin" he says to martin as the rest of them back of.

"I really need to talk to you mister" Brian starts.

"I know you have a lot of questions but I guarantee you I am just a good friend" Benjamin says to him.

"And what brought you to my wedding?" Brian now asked the hardest question.

"Nothing at all, i was there to see a friend" Benjamin responds.
