An Old Place

Martin speech was the final for the day and it was accompanied by quite an honourable clapp indeed,he then quickly rushed to Tran as he had been waiting for him for the longest time ever.

Tran who was now with the parents was very happy for him too much

“I never knew that you would come to my graduation ceremony, am very happy that you managed to do this and you don’t have an idea of what this means to me,thank you Tran!!”

“Among the things I can forget in life, your graduation day is not one of them Martin, though I was away,I want you to know that time is just a distance away and it never took me much to get her, we are still family and forever go to be the family that we were.”

“Indeed that is true Tran,we have each other’s backs and that’s what matters while we all still alive, our relations!”

Added Sarah.

“Okay now leave alone the much encouraging talk, for there is much to do, today is Martin’s day and a day of celebration too,we need to go and have a little bit of celebration to celebrate our very own for the making of a step in his life for his success.”said Dave

They then went and board the car as Dave could not wait to take off and within no time, the car was later on at their house.

Indeed a good day is always seen in the morning, not only did Tran come all by herself, she had brought some food to eat too!

She then helped Sarah through the food preparation just like the old times as this really felt so great again,she had really missed this as she was now home for the second time,at that time, Sarah had now started some conversation to avoid the boredom that came from the much work of preparation of some great things.

“How is your life now at your side Tran, hope everything is cool over there?”

“Everything is doing much greater Sarah,am glad you asked, Benson is now ready to settle than never before,I think he has now realized that he has indeed become a man enough!”

Tran answered.

Upon him hearing about Benson Gravis, Dave had already jumped to the kitchen where the food preparation was thoroughly conducted by the experties, he was really obsessed with that name and never wanted anything about him to pass without him on the know.

After the food was ready, it was served at the table for everyone to have, as it jas always been the norm, Dave was the first to have his after the prayer, Tran had really missed so much about this.

Back at home, Benson had started getting worried,that few second that Tran had left him seemed like a whole month to him, she was more than a lover and companion to her and vowed to himself that till death did them apart, he was always going to keep her close and be her rock,her protector and the person that she had always admired.Even though the feeling of this same person in love with someone else was still in his mind, he was never going to erase her from the heart,in fact the bond had just gotten even stronger.

It was now reaching evening while Tran still at Daves place enjoying some family time just as they used to, the whole moment seemed so great and for this reason, Tran felt like she needed to visit them quite oftenly, she was more than happy too when she realised that Jessica a’s relationship had grown into something else as Brian would come and join them in the game, the good family was even growing bigger as days would pass, this was the type of energy that they had been all advocating for.

The happiness was now starting to become too much as Tran was now forgetting that she needed to go back home, she had Benson assured this just before leaving, she did not totally know of how he had freaked out at the moment.Even though she was an adult, Benson had a great time to worry since she was the only one who amounted to something in his life, and therefore the feeling of her being closer to Dave even brought much pain in his heart.

The weather became so welcoming for all including Brian who had still been around to have a peaceful moment as they all were having some good time at the fireplace making all the jokes and the roasting of each other in a friendly manner.

The sky look so beautiful as it supported the moment, life seemed so perfect than never before.This is what they meant when the family was rich, for what did matter to them was being rich in heart, nothing more, the other earthy weath would come later on.

Tran had now suddenly realized that she has been over staying as they had agreed with Benson, she had now known one this for sure that he must have been boiling with anger, and knowing her best, the moments like this was quite horrible ones,one would never dare to walk around him.

She quickly went for her phone so that she could make some apologies and found out already uncountable missed calls from him, she also became so worried that she was afraid of calling to explain herself, he would probably hit her over the phone, she thought.

Everyone noticed her worry as Christine became the first one to ask,” you seem quite nervous, hope everything is alright?”

“I had agreed with Amanda that I should be back home earlier, I have now overstayed and I know him, he has now freaked out!i wonder how I am going to explain myself!” Tran said.

“Let me go and help you do so Tran, you don’t have to bother yourself, you have already done much to us!” Amanda said as the other members of the family including Sarah joined in agreement.
