A wild destiny

Benjamin had gone through a lot from the day Esther left the parish to the orphanage, all the pain of hope that kept eating on him each and every night hoping that Esther would return and on the other side of the story was Winnie, it was a love triangle that affected many but only for one heart. Benjamin had fallen in love in a most unique way that was so hard to explain. He goes through a lot that changes his mind from her mom's death to getting rich but none of this had ever touched his soft spot the way Esther did to him. He was torn between reality and true love which he believed in his entire life. Sitting on this chair at this moment waiting for nothing but only one heart to prove this, Esther had also tried so much but the look from Benjamin's eye was cutting through her heart, she was more than confused and she did not know what she wanted at the moment. Everyone in the wedding becomes suspicious about something but no one could really tell what was going on except for two people, Brian was missing a great scene and had no idea what was going on in the mind of his so to be wife.

The priest brings it to the most critical part that required a strong heart and trust to face it, it was a question of marriage and Brian quickly accepts Esther as her beloved wife, it looked like a movie scene when the priest turns to Esther and asks her the same question.

".. do you take Mr. Brian Otti as your beloved husband, to life and death to health and at your worst, do you promise to hold on to him and always stay by.." the priest went on with his long oathing sentence and Esther's eyes meet Benjamin's eye, it seemed that Benjamin's eye was begging her not to accept it and she could really see the pain in his eyes.

Esther wakes up in a white colored room and all she can hear is the sound of beeping medical equipments, she tries and opens her eyes and turns to look and all she could see is a broken heart besides her bed, Brian was beside her, he was not happy and not sad at all. Esther knew he really was not going to buy it anymore, his doubts had gone way to far and he could collect all his evidence and come to a conclusion, from the first occasion of what happened at the party, Benjamin was present, from the wedding he showed up and everything went a whole different direction, that was it, Brian really knew Benjamin had something to do with all this situation, all he wished for now was answers and he tries to hold his curiosity behind and waits for the perfect time at least when Esther will be of good health. The wards door is opened and the doctor in charge of taking care of her gets in. she checks on Esther and realizes she was fine she gets outside to talk with Brian and this is when even more news come in, Esther was already pregnant for Brian, the news hit Brian so hard at the most confusing time of his marriage with Esther. He totally was getting lost in a life that was giving him more weight than he had expected earlier, Esther was not yet married to him and his wedding turned out as a shocking drama that might even have gotten in the media. Esther had collapsed during the wedding and shocked everyone, she was brought to the hospital and the wedding postponed, Brian could not find enough courage to explain this to the doctors or anyone that was asking about Esther's whereabouts, it was such a scene that people believed the wedding was not supposed to happen and whatever happened to stop it was just a symbol or a sign.

Esther's mum arrives moments later and Brian gives her the news about the pregnancy, she receives it with an unexplainable reaction but Brian takes it to be a positive one. This was also the hardest time of Esther's mom because for the first time in all these years she raised Esther, this was the first time she was not getting what was going on with her daughter. She was also affected by the wedding not going okay and also had her own suspicions. She now clearly knew that his daughter was going through something and it seemed to not have gone on for too long, she chooses to put the blame on Brian but she does not speak about it, she sits besisde Esther's bed looking at her and she immediately opens her eye you would think they were communicating in a magical way.

"Don't worry mum, everything is fine, I am fine" she says these words to her but she was too smart to fall for it. she tries to look outside the door to see if Brian was still around but she is so surprised when she does not see him at all.

"Listen my daughter" she whispers to her.

"I don't mean to hurt you right now but according to how I see things going around, I am sorry to say that I don't think he was meant for you or neither were you meant for each other" Esther slowly turns to look to make sure it was her mother still talking, she had never before hear her speak in such away.

"Don't get me wrong my daughter but remember I raised you and I know you a lot Esther" she goes on.

"I know you raised me mum but you have no right to tell me whoever I want to be with mum, he is a good man and I am his wife, nothing can change that" Esther says this to her mum.

"Then why did you not say yes" she asks Esther and she has nothing to say for herself as tears start rolling from her eyes.
