Hunting the Samaritan

Culture notices his necklace and pulls it from his neck, he takes a look and sees woman's picture in it.

"Huh, so you got yourself a girl already, seems we have some more package for us boys, track her down, she must be so near, I believe this son of a b***h was headed straight to save his girlfriend hahaa" he says to them and they all laugh out loudly, he then knocks martin out and he blacks out.

Amanda is becoming so impatient and wonders what might have taken martin so long, she was becoming so restless as she walked up and down, she ad not eaten for hours and she could not wait any longer, it was now cold and windy outside and she did not want to get out of their wooden old house they used as a hideout. She gets tired and sits down for a minute, the baby was not letting her stand for long, her pregnancy was growing and she knew her uncontrollable hunger was from the pregnancy. She sits down on a wooden stool next to the beddings and tries to think how martin had left earlier in the morning, heading to the market to get her some food.

"Don't forget to bring some vegetables, he needs some" she remembers everything as she smiles to herself.

"Vegetables???" Martin asked her in surprise before he left.

"Yeah" Amanda answered him and took his left hand and placed it on her stomach for martin to feel the baby.

"Can you feel that" Amanda asks him softly.

"Of course I can, he will be a very strong boy, of course I will bring some vegetables, and some fruits too" Martin said to his wife that morning and kissed her goodbye.

"I will be back before you even know it" he says and kisses her at the stomach too. She smiles at him.

"It's a girl" she says at martin.

"Nop, a boy, a strong boy" martin shouts at her as he runs downhill to the path leading to the market, Amanda is left smiling, watching him and knew he was going to be a good dad to their baby not knowing that was the last time she was ever going to see him.

Martin walks to the market and spots two bodies lying down, he finds Laura and Jane both of them looking dead, he struggles and finds a way to bring them to the market, he takes them to Christine who was a good herbal doctor and hopes she could save them. He then walks down to the market and finally comes to the food market.

"Hello Maria, how are you doing today" he walks to Maria, a*****e owner who sells a variety of food, she is so excited to see martin as well.

"Come here my boy" Maria says as she hugs him.

"So what do you have today Maria, I need some fruits, vegetables and.." martin says as he tries to look at the store but suddenly a young boy passes running through and pushes him aside, he almost falls down from the impact. The boy is followed by two angry men who seemed to be on his neck, they catch up with him and he starts begging them not to harm him, martin looks at this unfolding scene and he cannot wait and see the men picking up on him, he chooses to intervene.

"Hey you, let him go, why don't you pick somebody your size" he shouts at them and they stop to look at him, surprised of how much courage he had to face them.

"Why don't you mind your own business, it's nothing to do with you" one of them responds to him, martin places down his bag and approaches them.

"Well, you don't wanna fight me I guess, I suggest you two should leave right now or.."

"Or else what?" the other guy cuts him short before he even finishes speaking and starts walking towards martin, he takes out a knife from his pocket, martin smiles to himself knowing they stood no chance against him, they were humans of course and he was such a strong wolf and it would take not more than a minute to put them down but suddenly the unexpected happens within such a short time, the young boy quickly gets up and pushes the guy with the knife and takes a run, the guy falls down and the other one starts running after the young boy. Martin quickly hits the guy on the floor and takes his knife, aiming at the guy chasing the kid, he throws the knife but his aim was so poor, the knife cuts through the back of the neck of the kid, martin does not want to believe this but it had just happened, all of these happened in such a short time and looked unreal, he quickly runs to the kid and holds him, he was still alive.

"Heee---eeeelp, somebody help!!!" he screamed for help but nobody was paying attention to him, the two guys were nowhere to be seen, they had disappeared like they were not even there, martin was now filled with blood, holding a lifeless body on his arms, he cries so hard but this would change nothing, something worse was happening without him knowing, he was getting surrounded, the two guys were not alone.

"Its him culture, its him, I saw him" Alex gets in a wooden house while breathing heavily and says this to Culture.

"Are you sure about this?" Culture asks him.

"Believe me sir, I saw him" Alex replies.

"What about the kid?"

"Something terrible has happened sir, he is dead" Alex says to culture, the news hits culture like a needle through his heart, he gets up from where he was sitting and looks at his soldiers, he turns to Aiden who has been sitting at the corner waiting for this moment.

"Come here!" he says and Aiden walks towards him.

"Stick above us, keep your legacy going, don't miss" he whispers to Aiden who nods in response.

"Okay guys, let's go get this son of a b***h" he says to them and they leave the store, they started hunting martin down and finally they catch up with him, Culture has never been so proud of himself till this day.
