The Caged Wolf

Martin can hardly feel his back, the pain that cuts through his head is unbelievable, he opens his eyes and realizes he cannot move at all, he is placed at the back of a truck, no idea of what was going on outside, he tries to look and sees Culture smoking a cigarette, his legs tied so tight with chains and he cannot shift and bring out his wolf, he groans so hard in deep pain. He suddenly realizes Amanda was not safe at all.

"Ooooh s**t!" he starts cursing, culture comes to the back of the truck and opens the door, finds him struggling to get loose.

"Careful there boy, those are steel chains, I would give you a week and you would not be able even to move a muscle so I advise you to spare your energy.

"Please culture, you have to let me go, please" martin begs him, tears comes from his eyes but this could not make culture feel a thing, he was almost heartless and gives him this evil laugh.

"That's so cute martin, I should let you go, okay come on, the door is open" culture mocks him.

"Please, you cannot do this to me culture, please let me go and I will do anything to make it up to you" martin goes on begging him.

"Tell me one reason why I should free you martin, is it because of your girl huh!! You are all we need right now and her, you have no idea what I have in mind for her when I lay my hands on her" he says straight to his face.

Martin is silent for a while, culture stands looking at him, they were once best of friends, some years back but a lot has changed.

"I know this isn't you culture, I know you how they force you to do this, I can help you, we can get away far from here you know, make you fulfill your dreams, your mums dreams culture remember that, you used to tell me that" he tries digging in to the most delicate part of cultures heart.

"Stoooop with that!!! I am a changed man Martin, I am no longer that lonely young kid with stupid dreams you used to know, I have changed a lot and nothing is going to stop me from getting whatever I need right now and what I need is getting you back to the alpha" Culture becomes so emotional while saying these words and martin now knows he stands no chance in changing his mind, he shuts the door and locks it again living martin in his cage.

Martin could not believe any of these was happening and it just look like his world was coming to an end, he had finally been caught and there was nothing he could do about it, his blood was all that mattered to the wolves and now it was just a matter of hours before he could be brought in front of the alpha, back at his motherland, miles away. It hurts him so much at this time that he cannot save his wife even with all the power he has in him, he now sees himself as the greatest looser, he had just killed an innocent boy and now his wife was going to be next, he would never forgive himself if this monsters were to lay their hands on his wife.

He had lived with this secret for years and now he could not believe what was happening, he had hidden his true identity to everyone, even to his lovely wife Amanda, who was human, he did this just to protect her but now it was just about to become the greatest mistake he ever did in his life, the wolves were almost catching up with Amanda, just like a lion preying on reindeer without it realizing at all.

Aiden clears his path with his bow, he walks past through the trees and finally comes to a great sight, he can clearly see where the smoke was coming from, he had find the hideout, Tyler was inside and had no idea of what was about to happen to them, the pregnant Amanda lies there hoping for martin to come in any moment, her hopes were still high and she only wished he has not gotten himself in any trouble as he did frequently.

Tyler warms himself next to the fire and tries so hard not to bother Amanda, his eyes are fixed at the fire but now he sees a shadow and quickly turns to look at the window, it was clear to him somebody was outside the house, his eyes are fixed to the ground and follows the shadow and his instincts quickly tells him that they were in danger, he slowly gets up and touches Amanda.

"Shhhhh...!!" he whispers to her and points to her, Amanda is so tensed when he sees the shadow from outside, Tyler uses some gestures telling her to hide, he sees this as the perfect time to prove himself as a true man in front of Amanda and now makes a bold move, he notices the knife at the table and picks it, stands next to the door and it was just the perfect time, Aiden knocks at the door.

"Hide!" Tyler whispers to Amanda before opening the door and Amanda slowly goes at the back window and quickly struggles to get out, he waits until she gets out and slowly opens the door, he sees a one eyed man standing front of the door.

"Hello, how can I help you sir" Tyler asks him, he was trembling but he had to be brave to avoid any suspicion, he could see his eyes and they were the scariest this he had ever seen in his life.

Aiden pushes him away from the door and this is where things get bloody, Tyler falls down head first and knew he had just gotten himself in a big trouble.
