The Intimacy

Esther sits unmoved not knowing what to feel at all. She remains sitted in the same posture maintaining eye contact with Brian who in the other side has no clue of what to do or say next. For a moment he really thinks he has messed up a big deal and even thinks of apologising. The best part of it is that Esther was also seeing him in the same way since the day they met and he showed his kindness and bought her the nun clothes.

Esther was now tied up between two things and she had to make a choice over the other. She was now at the edge of finding something good and new as love but she was just not ready to let it go away. Working in the church has always been her biggest choice and she did not know what to do at all.

"Brian, i don't even know what to say know" she struggles to say her words but does not just admit it at once. Brian can clearly see it in her eyes but he wants to hear it from her.

"Am sorry sister, I don't know what got over me, i am so sorry for saying that" Brian makes his move by pretending to be apologising and he really know how to play his cards very well and this is the point where Esther begins to show some signs of almost giving in.

"It is nothing Brian, there is no problem with that but as you can see, my hands are tied up.." before she could even finish speaking Brian was on her face, and kissed her, she did not even expect it at all but had to take it. It was so short but felt like heaven for both of them, Esther thought that she had the best seconds of her life. Brian too did not expect the move he pulled to be so direct and he could not believe that it was a total success but what they did not know is that every good moments never end up so well. They were so blinded by their affection and even forgot that they were out in the open and despite the fact that they believed that they were all alone, they were so wrong.

Brian turns his head and notices somebody was just at the corner and might have been looking at them all this time. He quickly stands up and runs to check out but the person moves very fast and he can only hear the footsteps and see the shadow disappearing inside the rooms but he does not back up since he wants to know who ever it was. He walks as fast as he can and passes the kitchen and several people are their which confuses him totally and he does not know or sees anybody suspicious and everybody is minding his business. He goes ahead into the children's room and find them making stories and minding their businesses too. He hears a door locking from behind the corridor and runs to the room and sees nothing. He decides to go back to where Esther was but he is so confused. He meets Esther who was almost standing up.

"Who was that Brian!" She asks and she is now freaking out so bad.

"Talk to me Brian, who was that!" Her temper was now going up and Brian had never before seen her like that since she was loosing it.

"Calm down Esther, i don't know who it was, the person seemed to be sneaking and walked very fast Esther." She starts walking up and down and becomes restless at all. Brian tries calming her down.

"Just stop talking Brian, just allow me have a rest, we will talk later" Esther leaves Brian standing and goes away to her room. It becomes so confusing since they both don't know what is awaiting them. The identity of the person who saw them is totally unknown. Brian goes and sits at the bench really stressed up and overthinking. He is the beginning of all the troubles and feels so guilty. He cannot leave at all since he does not know what he would have left behind, he cannot also stay because someone in the orphanage saw him kissing the sister and this only is enough news to finish Esther's reputation and everything they new about her.

Esther opens her room and gets in, she slums the door behind her and remains leaning on it, she starts crying silently knowing how she has totally messed up everything. She sees love as a stupid thing and starts seeing like she was getting out of hand and needed to get back to her senses for once and forget about Brian. She decides not to see him again and decides to break every single communication they had. She walks towards her bed and sits their still crying. She makes every single decision about dealing away with Brian at a moment when she is so emotional, forgetting about how she was slowly falling in love with him. She did not know what will become of her if the news about her and Edward reaches everybody including the council of the priests. Her life was getting f****d up every single day since father Edward died, everything was going on separate ways and nothing was ever the same again. Brian stands from the bench and walks towards the gate. He find Peter dozing off and chooses not to disturb him at all. He gets out and stands infront of the gate not knowing what to do. He cannot make up his mind and on the other side, he cannot get out of their without knowing whom it was. He gets in the compound again and enters the children's hall. He looks around and everything is still the same. The children barely notices him but as he stands there one of the kids notices him and walks towards him.
