The Bargain

He said this to him as he gave him a very wonderful hug.After that hug, something had just come into his mind,

"That reminds me Dad, how are you going to be survive by yourself in dealing with Benson Gravis now that we have confirmed that he is full of breath?"

Dave had seen this coming as he went silent for a moment then answered,

" about that son, don't you ever worry. I have plans for it all."

" If you want,I can take a break from school or even deferr so that I might help you in this. Who knows, since he has never come back home this can mean that he has become somehow dangerous. Maybe you need help more than ever dad,and you cannot do this alone,let me help you and resume with studies once all this drama is over?"

"No dear one, just believe in your father for this one time. You need to go on with your education and don't even think about taking a break,have you forgotten that I am still the mastermind behind all the plans. I am the baddest of them all and nothing is going to beat me!!"

He assured him.

Sometimes you just have to promise the ones you love or care about you about your safety being in place even if really isn't in real sense. The truth of the matter was that Dave was also more than scared as he wondered so much of what he could do when Benson Gravis was to be a threat to his own family, especially now that things seemed so unsual as he had not yet acertain his promises to him.

Benson now seemed so careless as he looked like a walking dead more so now that he had nothing to lose since no one was left behind whom he loved dearly and also with close personal relations.

This was now the conclusion if the little manly talk that they were having as they went back to the house to join the ladies with whatever that it is they were doing.

Apparently, they had now found them already involved in some meaningful gossiping and this was such a turn off for them, in as much as the stories were that sweet, they never bothered to engage in because of the fear of loosing their manly personality.

This had now made Dave to almost forget his worries by almost getting in with the talk but the son footsteps had him choosing not to be involved with the juicy gossip.

When the meaningful gossiping was finally over, they took their energy to prepare some early lunch since everyone was now feeling some kind of emptiness having releasing whatever that was inside them.

By now, everyone was very much aware that the combination of the two in carrying out the kitchen skills was a big disaster since a combination of many experts does not only lead to confusion of ideas. It does bring something very special to the table at times,this was now about it and making a success in whatever that was going on.

" What do you think we should have for supper dear?" Sarah asked as she took a look inside the fridge to see what it had for them,they were never going to keep quiet in whichever place they were,this meant that there were now very high chances that the gossiping was likely to continue as the preparations continued. Though any was to be condemned for being too talkative since it was this that determined what was to be presented at the table. That more of their talking would make them to bring a very delicious type of meal that would leave anyone at the table still salivating even after grabbing a bite.

Jessica suggested that since most of the times they were used to prepare any other person's favorite apart from Jacob,maybe the time for him to shine had finally reached, and what can be the best way to shine upto the heart without giving the stomach a direction through?

" Why don't we try Jacob' s favorite today as our special meal for the day? I can't imagine when the last time we ate some okward food was!!"

Jessica had answered jokingly then just out of nowhere,the idea was very fast implemented. Sarah being the chief Chef herself could not wait to start cooking what the son liked the most.

Even though his favorite one was among the worst ones, especially for his mother and sister. Dave having gone through many experience with food or rather say foodious had not very little about selection when it came to the same. He would literally pass through any meal so long as it was edible and number two fact being not involved with fatal toxicity.

Now that they were going to do his way, they had to do it the best way that would make everyone to enjoy the meal. Just as hard as it is to transform someone's behavior from lets say 'bad' to 'good'or rather which would be wholy and socially acceptable.

This meant that they were supposed to be ready for the whole operations in place by availing all their favorite weapons in the name of necessary spices that they had to put in place in carrying on with the cooking and only utilising each when it's time was due.

They carefully and very perfectly did this and the fourty five minutes they had spent was so much satisfying to account for the kitchen magics that they had been doing in making everything to line up with their expectations, Jessica was given the earliest privileged to take the early test and found it just as expected. This was going to be the most delicious one in Jacob's existence.

She then went to confirm his active presence and found him at his room as always doing his stuff.

She did not wait to take a piece of cloth which she used to cover his eyes in preparation for his dedicated suprise.
