A Helping hand

“Its okay Laura, for as much as I want you so bad, I cant risk my reputation for now, I am so sorry, this is going to be difficult” Eric says to her. This words hit her like a sword through her chest, it was the opposite of what she expected.

“Nooo, you cant do this Eric, take me and make me your mate, I am a virgin” she says and Eric turns to look at her. She was so convincing and she was becoming so hard to resist no matter how hard he tried.

“Well that’s something I would like to prove but I am afraid I can’t, look Laura, I am destined to take the throne, to rule this pack and that’s a long time to come, perhaps I would clearly choose you as my mate but it’s so sad you will be long gone by that time” he says to her and goes away.

All her efforts and hopes were washed away, time was not on her side and her life was at stake, all her dreams seemed to be fading away and she didn’t even want to think of any of it at this time.

Poor Elvin, he must be suffering by now not knowing where the love of his life was taken, everything escalated so fast and it all became a disaster.

Back at their rooms, Gabriella is at her bed after a long day, she is getting ready to get to bed when Laura’s mum sneaks to her bed.

“Hey, I got something” she whispers to her as she looks around to confirm no one was spying on them.

“What is it again, I told you I don’t wanna get in any…”

“Look…!” she cuts her before she finished complaining and shows her some bunch of keys.

“Where did you get these from ma’am, you want to get yourself into..”

“Shhhhhh… these are the keys to the cells, they have got my baby there Gabriela please help me” Laura’s mum says to her and Gabriella could see the pain in her eyes, she really was willing to do anything to save her daughter’s life.

“Ooooh dear, this is so wrong ma’am, I know your pain but this?” She points at the keys and shakes her head disagreeing with the plan.

“This is a suicide wish ma’am not just to you but you are also putting Laura’s life at stake, not to mention mine” Gabriella tells her while wiping her tears.

She now does the unthinkable and gets down on her knees.

“Oooh god, please get up ma’am, it will make no difference at all, we can manage to free her but we never are going to leave this place, they will rip of our necks before we even know it” Gabriella tries to persuade her.

“It’s okay” she gets up and wipes her own tears.

“I will go alone” she says and before she leaves Gabriella holds her hand but she pulls away and runs outside the building, Gabriella knew she wasn’t going to make it, she won’t even get passed the first guard.

“Poor thing” she says as she covered herself on her bed.

The floor was so cold as Jane walks silently through the room to go and get her daughter, the bunch of keys were making a lot of noise and so she chooses to cover the key with her veil, all she could smell in the air was the scent of roasted meat, the wolves seemed to e having a feast. A perfect moment for her to get around and if she becomes lucky enough, go in undetected. She is so cold but she keeps on moving, a guard is standing at the entrance to the cells smoking a cigarette. She tries figuring out a way to get passed the guard, she isn’t strong enough to take him out and she has only one option, she looks down and it was a long way down to the ground but she tries hard enough and climbs and hangs on the side wall, she slowly moves towards the guard while hanging around, she is niw out of the guards sight but one wrong move and she goes all the way down falling to her death several feets to the ground. While holding her breath and trying hard enough not to gasp, she is almost getting passed the guard but the bunch of keys on her waist get loose and now brings the attention to the guard, he gets up from his chairs and moves next to the wall, he looks down and before she could spot her, Gabriella pushes him off the wall and he falls down to the ground to his death.

“Come on, give me your hand” she had chosen to come and rescue her, she could not get any sleep at all knowing the poor old Jane was out there risking her life.

She pulls her up and now they have to get in together.

“Thank you so much Gabriella, I honestly could not have survived that” Jane says to her as she hands her the keys.

“No problem, but now we need to act fast and smart here get in before the guards could realize what we are up to” they get in and leave the door unlocked. Gabriella leading the way, Jane behind her, they slowly walk through the corridors and come to another gate, Gabriella struggles to find the key to open it but this time things don’t go according to their plan.

“I can’t find the key to this door!!!” She says as she shakes terribly.

“Give me let me try..” Jane says.

“Nooo.. listen” Gabriella says and they both freeze, Jane listens and she can hear her voice, it was Laura humming to her favorite tune.

“That’s her that’s my daughter, she is in somewhere here we need to get this door opened now” she says as she struggled with the door.

“Well we can’t, I think someone is coming Jane” Gabriella says as she looks back.

“Stop Jane, can you squeeze yourself passed this opening” she says as she shows notices a big space between the gate.

“We have no time!” Gabriela tries to yell at her.
