The Vampires

"I will do anything in my power to avenge this, everything they did to you my love, don't be afraid, we are together right now" Elvin says as he changes his clothes, Laura sited at the living room. She wonders what happened to Elvin’s dad since she has not seen him since they got here but she chooses not to ask.

"I know, his name is Eric" Laura comes from his thoughts and says to Elvin.

"He is the main target here, i could have finished him Elvin if you just could have let me rip his head off" she says to him.

" I did not know you as a killer Laura, i knew you as a thief, in fact that wasn't you at all, something changed right? Apart from Eric and the wolves, talk to me my love" Elvin is now holding her hands with his as he says this to her.

" It's not a thing Elvin, am a little bit different now" she answers Elvin.

"Different in which way, you are human, right?" He asks her hoping for a more elaborate answer.

"Yeah, am human but... Something happened to me and now i got these powers Elvin" she says while showing Elvin her hands. Elvin looks at electricity buzzing through her hands and he is so shocked with what he sees. He tries holding her palms but he quickly removes his hands again.

"This is so magnificent Laura, this is so epic" he slowly says in shock but he was so satisfied with what he was seeing.

"That evil wolf is still out there and he will stand no chance to escape this time round" she says to him.

"Ooh dear, calm down, you don't have to handle things on your own that way, i suggest you let me deal with this one baby, you have been through a lot" Elvin says to her hoping she would listen to him just like the old days not knowing this was a whole different person. She doesn't say a word and Elvin takes that as a yes and he goes on to the kitchen.

"Try and get some sleep on the couch, i will make something for you to eat" he says as he starts cooking. Laura sleeps on the couch, her mind and thoughts aren't here anymore, she used to feel so different when she is with him but now things seemed to have changed a lot on her side, she feels nothing at all, no love , no feelings, it's like he had just been left behind a s part of the old life but she could not just show him. She wished she could just get up and say it to him but that could be so devastating and heart breaking. The love she once had with him seemed to have faded away with time and through what she went through, she looked like she totally had nothing to offer to him , her sexy body was long gone and now she looks so miserable but that's not how he saw her, he still saw her as her princess even though that's not what she wanted, she wanted to be alone for the remaining part of her life she wanted to explore this new power she possessed since she knew this was the only precious thing she was left with. She goes on overthinking on the couch as Elvin finishes with the cooking. They spend the night at Elvin’s home.

Back at the end of the woods, Eric comes out from the woods and stands on a huge field looking at the sun rising, scars on his face and several parts of his body, he looked so wounded and it was such a long time since something was able to wound him, not even his fellow wolves let alone a human being. Filled with alot of pain and anger, he walked through the grass field thinking of how to solve this mess that had fallen on his shoulder, Laura was now becoming a threat to him and his fallen wolf pack, he was the only strong one left to deal with her and he had to act right. His palace and territory was left with chaos after what happened the last night. He could not regain his alpha title unless he dealt with Laura so as to bring his pack back together. He slowly walks through the field and comes to its end, he sees several humans farming around at the corns growing nearby. He walks to onr of them.

"Hey!" He shouts at the man.

"What's up man, need any help" the guy says as he goes on with his work.

"Yeah, i need water" Eric says arrogantly to the man. The man points at him to go to the further end, he slowly limps to the direction amd fund several people at the well trying to fetch some water. He pushes them away and gets water for himself.

"Hey you, you shouldn't do that" one old man says to him after seeing what he had done.

" I do whatever pleases me old guy" he says to him as he goes on drinking water, the old man who had covered himself with some old blanket, you could only see his face, the rest of his body parts were totally covered. He approaches Eric and holds his left hand, Eric groans in pain and pulls himself and roars out loudly, everyone suddenly stops and watch them, the two of them looking at each other ready for a fight.

"This is our land wolf, you have to respect anyone you fund here or else.. you wouldn't like it" he says to Eric with some angry tone and that's when Eric realizes his fangs, he was an old vampire, he did not know how many more were surrounding him and he immediately knew this was not a place to mess up. He slowly walks away from them, it was his choice, to choose peace with them or go against their will.
